Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Marware Sportsuit Sensor Case for Nike + iPod Sport Kit for iPod nano 3G (Black)

Customer Review: Pefect Compromise to the $$ Nike + shoes
Summary: 5 Stars

If you are interested in using the Nike + sport sensor system for running, tracking exercise info, or motivation this is a great item. It lets you utilize the actual Nike + sport sensor without having to purchase the shoes. I have nothing against Nike, its just that I like other running shoe brands better so this worked great for me. I originally had modified my running shoes with a Dremel tool but this is way better.
I would highly recommend.

Customer Review: It Works
Summary: 5 Stars

There really isn't a lot that I need to state in regards to this sensor case.

It works.

//I use it with my Nike+ and Brook's Beast Running shoes. I have ran on the treadmill and outdoors with it and my graph on nike's website of the speed looks consistent. It is not losing data thus I like the product. My next shoe will probably a nike+ shoe so it doesn't have the weird pouch look but I don't look pretty running anyways.

Customer Review: Doesn't work so well.
Summary: 2 Stars

I received the marware pouch two days ago to use on my Asics. It holds the sensor well, but frankly, the setup doesn't work. My Nano catches only about half of steps. In fact, when calibrating for walking, it only captures .13-.14 of a .25 mile walk. My Nano gave me a calibration error because it was so far off. When I calibrated the run, it got .3 off a .25 mile. When I took it for my test run this morning, it only got .49 mile for over a mile run.

Customer Review: sensor case
Summary: 2 Stars

I was diappointed with this item. It is so much easier to use a shoe that is compatible with the sensor instead of using this pouch. Once you calibrate the sensor to the Nike shoe, you have to calibrate it again if you are going to use the sensor case instead. It's a bother having to calibrate it every time you are going to change shoes. I would stick with a Nike shoe. The Air Pegasus is an excellent shoe for long distances.

Customer Review: Works exactly as described.
Summary: 5 Stars

Love this thing. Already had an iPhone 4 and a pair of Nike shoes but I needed some motivation to run. I didn't want to buy Nike's expensive "plus" shoes so this thing allowed me to buy the nike plus pedometer and use it with my other running shoes. Awesome for people in my situation and people who prefer other shoes, like Oasics.

Overall, great if you're interested in Nike Plus at a lower overall cost.
