I only have RAVE reviews for this product! I tried buying the very expensive Nike+ shoes, but they hurt my feet terribly. At the enormous price, I was actually glad to return the shoes. After finding this little pouch for under $5, I couldn't believe I could be so lucky! It worked perfectly. I have had it for almost a year now and have had no problems at all. I don't think it's the holders fault, but My ipod only picks up about 1/2 of the distance I'm running. The holder seems to do what it's supposed to, holding the sensor in place. It's sturdy, and stands up to the use and abuse I throw at it, but the system it works with... I can't say the same about. I don't like how nike's shoes fit, so this is a good way around that. Sensor fit is very snug in this case, which is good. You don't want your sensor going anywhere... do you?
Velcro stays very tight which keeps the sensor in place for accurate recording and communication to your iPod. I prefer this case over the hard plastic case that would spin around while I ran.
Best case for your Nike +iPod sensor... for non-Nike shoes.

I ordered the Nike+ Sportsband only because I discovered that you didn't have to use it with Nike shoes. Instead, you can pay a few dollars for the sport sensor kit. The kit stays firmly attached to your shoe with velcro and it holds up well in rain and heat. Definitely the way to go if you want to take advantage of Nike's great technology, without having to commit to their shoes.Customer Review: Worth the extra cost

I bought this for my wife based on other reviews. I was hesitant to spend the extra money, but it was worth it. High quality, the sensor doesn't move. Haven't used in rain yet, but it doesn't rain much in Central TX. If you want to get if a bit cheaper you may have to sacrifice and get an ugly color. I like this enough I am looking to Marware to buy a new holder for my iPod.
