I purchased this product with aprehension because I wasn't sure if it would be very easy to clean. The company states this is a "PVC leather", but that really didn't make a whole lot of sense to me. I decided to try it, nonetheless. The wrist pad is more like a thin vinyl that has a somewhat aggresive adhesive (but is also removable). The color is a perfect match to the rubbery plastic part on the screen hinge. The fit is perfect, and I mean to the millimeter! It was very easy to apply. It does not absorb water, and that makes it easy to clean. The company also told me it was easily cleaned using a white rubber eraser. The pad is about 1 millimeter thick-thick enough to provide some cushion, but not too thick to interefere with closure. There are die cut outs that perfectly match the bumpers and latches in the top lid. It really provides a much more comfortable feeling on the wrists. Also, it protects from the dreaded aluminum pitting that seems to be happening after a year of use. It's cheap enough to simply purchase a new one when it wears out. The keyboard cover/screen cleaner is also a real nice product. It cleans the glossy screen to perfection, without any smears or streaks. It's soft enough to not cause scratches. I guess it's a good protector of the screen when the lid is closed, but I haven't had a problem with the keyboard touching the screen since my old PowerBook G3. But at least it's easy to store on top of the keyboard when you're not using the computer. Lastly, the company is superior in customer service. I asked them questions about this product and they got back to me within a few hours. If you're looking to spruce-up your MacBook, I definitely recommend this.
