I used one of these along with a Wattgate 320i-BLK IEC Connector Black in order to construct my own audiophile-grade power cable. The cable was easy to assemble and looks just like I paid over $200 for it. In fact if you look around you will see these exact components being used in various mega-buck power cords. I already had the wire and other components handy to this project was a no-brainer. The entire project took 20 minutes but it looks like a fine high end component and complements the rest of our setup perfectly. The end product looks so good and sounds so good that even my wife was able to notice the difference and agrees it was a smart purchase. I'm definitely buying more.
