As a wedding photographer, these eliminated my need for a cumbersome external batterypack. Expensive but you are getting what you pay for.
Probably not worth it for the TV remote but for high drain devices, these pack a punch and blow standard alkaline AA's out of the water!

Based on technical reviews I read years ago that showed Powerex superior to most other brands I have used them for years. However, over time I noticed a lot of duds with new purchases. I guess quality control is not up to par.
I can no longer recommend Powerex batteries.

These batteries last longer on a charge, with the best recycle time than any other batteries chargeable or not, that I've ever used. Highly recommended. I use these batteries to power my headlamp while vertical caving, and I wouldn't trust this job to any old battery. Thus far, these have been the best rechargeable AA batteries I have ever used. They hold a charge and last longer than any brand I've tried.Customer Review: Excellent product

I purchased a set of four of these batteries a year ago. I liked them so much that when the need arose for additional rechargable batteries I did not hesitate to purchase another set. All eight batteries are going strong. I highly recommend them.
