I bought this cover after seeing my friend's similar one. It works very well to stop crumbs, hair, and liquids from getting into the computer. It fits my keys flawlessly and has the nice benefit of reducing the noise made while typing. It's always embarrassing in class to be keeping up with notes, only to realize everyone within a 25-foot radius is staring at how loud your typing is. I've had this for several months now, and have had no problems with its durability or construction. It is also very easy to clean; just run it under some soapy water and let it dry.Customer Review: Functionality and Esthetics

This keyboard cover does exactly what it should - protects my keyboard from dust and grime, while at the same time remaining unobtrusive. It clings to the keys well, but will roll up a bit at the corners of the hand plants. It is almost completely invisible, and allows me to clearly see all of the icons on the keys. My suggestion is to thoroughly clean your keyboard before placing the cover over the top - working in a dust free zone - cat hair etc., quickly adheres to the cover if you aren't careful. It's like what everyone else said, it's a fine keyboard cover and will work as it needs to, but before I bought this I didn't know that keyboard covers (in general) cause overheating-i know that seems intuitive, but it just didn't hit me. When I had it on, my fan went on a lot more often and it felt hotter in general.
Also, I took it off for like a few seconds, dust DEFINITELY sticks WAY too well to the back side so it is something you should be REALLY careful about as a previous reviewer said.

The item used y itself is great. it doesnt slow you down or anything. Its stays in place However, the edges come over the edge of the mac a bit, to keep it in place. If youre using a hardcase to protect your mac, then the keyboard protector wont fit perfectly as the edges will be pushed up by the hardcase cover. This protector doesn't fit my key. The width (from TAB across to RETURN fits well, but the depth (FUNCTION KEYS to TOUCH PAD) is too short by 1/2". I'm sure I would rate the construction and durability higher if I were able to use it. Before you buy a keyboard protector, check and double check your required measurements
