Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of CAT6 RJ45 Modular Plug 50 PcsCustomer Review: Poor CAT6 ends Summary: 1 Stars
The ends that I ordered were for CAT6 cabling. I needed these to complete a project in my home. The first one I tried did not work becuase the small plastic pice that keeps the pairs separated did not work as it should. I replaced the small piece and I was able to get it to work, but when the pairs were placed in the end pice and crimped, the brass pins that are supposed to penetrate the wire kept missing the wire. Good price, but poor product. I had to go elsewhere to replace the order.
Customer Review: Worst plugs ever Summary: 1 Stars
Having a separate piece that you have to individually thread the wires through is the worst thing to ever happen to an RJ45 plug. I used to be able to arrange the wires in my fingers, slip them into the plug and crimp - 15 seconds max. With these plugs it takes forever to thread the wires through the near invisible holes in the loading carriage. I will never buy these again.
By the way - I tried to rate this item with 0 stars, but Amazon would not let me.
Customer Review: Absolutely the best Summary: 5 Stars
I have used RJ45 connectors from EZRJ45, Pan Pacific, and Ideal. These connectors from Micro Connectors, Inc. are by far the best. I had to rebut several failed EZRJ45 connectors with these and each one worked the first time. It's hard to make a bad or incorrect connection with the wire spacer that comes with the connector.
Customer Review: Excellent connectors! Summary: 5 Stars
I do a small amount of cabling for myself and some of my friends....these modular connectors are the only way to go.....so much easier than the old style connectors. these connectors seem to be good quality and I will definatly buy them again...price was also excellent compared to other products of the same type.
Customer Review: Hit and miss? Summary: 3 Stars
Maybe its me but these seem not to crimp to well. I had to do over some lines a few time before it worked. The teeth that get inserted into the wire seem to miss at times and the thing is it comes with a guide.
