Customer Review: Poor Design

Typically in the past I've purchased connectors that had all the holes lined up horizontally level. This product however had every other hole staggered one high, one low, one high, one low and so on. Horrible when trying to feed the wire through. It just makes it such a painful experience. I do not recommend this to anyone.

I am updating my review the reflect the proper quality of this product. By my own ignorance I didn't realize there was a fundamental difference when wiring connectors from cat5e to cat6. The staggered hole lineups are intended and now its a two piece end. You need to get your wires lined up, cut them at an angle, then feed them into the smaller piece with the holes. Then slide it down the wire, cut the wire ends straight and put it into the plug. When you understand Cat6, you understand its not the product its the end users lack of knowledge of cat6. Once I figured this out, I've been able to make dozens of cables flawlessly and with ease. I highly recommend the product and give it 4 Stars. I would have given it 5 had they had some idiot proof insert telling you how to do this. Even if it was a small picture. I think until cat6 is streamlined and everyone understand it, its important that the manufactures add these little disclaimers to teach the newbies.
