I was happy with the quality of the wire.
I had read reviews it was only 97' long instead of 100', but that does not matter to me.
I had also read a review that the gauge was slightly less than advertised. I have not found that to be the case. The gauge advertised was actual.
I'd buy it again.

I was able to use this to run from my AV cabinet in the front of my room, up the wall, through the attic, and to surround speakers mounted to the cieling. We are very happy with it. 12 Gauge is pretty thin for anything by surround speakers or small aux speakers. I would never use this to power my main speakers or center channel.Customer Review: good wire, thick too

This is very good speaker wire. I bought 100 feet of 12 gauge in December 2005 for $20 , including shipping. It was a great deal. I came back looking for more in January 2007 and it has more than doubled. I paid 20 cents per foot. Now even if I get a 500 foot roll I will pay close to 40 cents a foot. Hmmmmm......

If you need heavy speaker wire for a long run or for a powerful system, this 12g wire is very good. For most systems, 18g would probably be fine.
No problem with short lengths or anything.
Best price I've found. (Alas, copper has skyrocketed in price in the last few years.)

so I hire an electrican, get ready to install wiring for a home theatre system ,and find out that my 3 runs are all 3 feet short. I pull them, and they are all 30 feet not 33. Boy am I annoyed. Went back and found another reviewer with the same experience. Guess I should have been less trusting
