The wire I received was on one spool (not two 50ft spools as others have complained about). It is 12 gauge wire as well, so I was not slighted at all on wire size.
I have not made it to the end of the spool, so I am not sure if the wire is a couple feet shorter than 100 feet. However, it looks like a full spool to me.
The only complaint I have is the overall price of speaker wire in general . . . although this is the cheapest/best deal I could find, its still too expensive.

I ordered a 100 foot roll and only received 91 feet. I needed to make three pieces: 39', 34' and 27' for my home theater. Now I have to buy a whole new 50' roll to complete the job. I noticed someone else had commented on only getting 45' from a 50' roll. I thought it just may be a fluke with the 50' rolls... Guess not! Seems like China likes cutting corners. If you need all 100 feet, or don't like getting gipped, then this isn't the wire for you.Customer Review: Short spools

I have installed this within walls during construction and have not used it carrying a signal yet, so cannot give any opinion on that. The thing that bothers me though, is that the 100' rolls were actually a little less than 90' long, causing me to call Amazon about the problem. Amazon, to their credit, stood up to more than their responsibility and gave me a discount on another spool of the cable, making up for the shortage.Customer Review: Don't buy this if you need 100 ft

I thought maybe with all of the complaints about short rolls the supplier would have fixed the problem, but they haven't. The roll I bought was only 89 ft long. It wouldn't have bothered me if that would have been enough, but I really needed all 100 ft. I was only able to hook up 4 out of five speakers, and now I need to find another 10 ft of wire somewhere and wait a few more days to enjoy my surround sound system.Customer Review: Good quality wire but, as other reviewers mentioned, the spool was short !!!

Very good quality wire...However the spool I had received was short 13 feet ;-( So, instead of 100 I only received 87 feet on the spool.
Luckily for me, I only needed about 75 feet so it did not mess up my intallation job.
To Amazon's credit, they handled the incident very well: they credited my account for the value of the missing wire, approx. $5.00.
Amazon.com are the best !!!! :-)
