If you are ever on one of the older airplanes with this kind of plug and have your own headphones this will come in very handy. Airline headphones are always cheap crap and hurt your ears more then they help, so I always carry my own noise isolating headphones with me...Customer Review: Do they work in Lufthansa or KLM

I am going to take a 20 hour flight. I am planning to buy an adapter but I am wondering if anybody tried them on Lufthansa since the lufthansa as I heard from someone is three-prong holes.

It recombines the stereo split... what else can I say?
Doubt you need a user's manual. Plug it in, plug in your headphones....
Reliable.
Wish I could say the same for most airline seat sockets.

This adapter is very handy on airplanes. I can use my own, nice headphone and plug in the adapter, and be able to watch movies on the plane. I find the airline headphones are very uncomfortable; sometimes even hurt my ears.Customer Review: Everyone should have 1

I just flew Contintenal from NJ to SF and this was great! I used my noise canceling headphones and was very pleased not to have to use the ear hurting airline torture devices! Fabulous!
