These smoke detectors are a living nightmare. They only go off at night.... another reviewer likened them to the living dead... good analogy. DO NOT BUY THESE OR ANY OTHER FIREX PRODUCTS, IMHO THEY ARE CHEAP, SHODDY WORKMANSHIP AND HORRIBLE ENGINEERING. The builder put these in my home just to torment me. Beazer, the builder from hell...did this to me.
