Customer Review: Great Addition to PC-enabled TV
Summary: 5 Stars

PC with HDMI output to hook to the TV: $600
diNovo Edge Keyboard: $150
Watching content off the Web through my 52-incher without having to get off the couch: Priceless!
Used to use a Adecco trackball RF wireless keyboard, but this one not only looks way better sitting in my living room, but the track pad is much easier to use than the track ball was - more accurate.

Customer Review: Awesome, almost perfect, keyboard
Summary: 5 Stars

I read all the reviews before I bought this keyboard 3 months ago. This thing is great, everything I hoped for. I haven't had any of the problems or complaints that I read about except for these two things:

(1) The connection was in and out and VERY annoying. This has a simple fix, moving the bluetooth USB thingy away from the computer (I use it on a desktop) with a short USB extension cable (mine's 2ft). Apparently, if it is too close to metal (or a computer's power supply) it has trouble. I used the extension to get it a little further from my computer and it has worked perfectly since- I use my keyboard from my couch about 12ft away.

(2) The keyboard has some fancy lights for shortcuts, volume control, etc. But the keys themselves do not light up, making typing in the dark tricky. For the price tag on this baby, and since there are already lights on the keyboard I think it's pretty weak to not light up the keys, or at least use glow-in-the-dark paint.

That's it, everything else is fantastic. I think I've charged the thing once, even though I never turn it off. I don't mind the keyboard layout- it seems normal size to me and not especially weird. Well worth the money.

Customer Review: di novo keyboard
Summary: 5 Stars

I just got this keyboard delivered the other day. Well worth the money i spent on it. Installing the keyboard took literally 10 seconds, plugged the bluetooth dongle in and hit the sync button, didnt have to do anything else. The touch pad works great, its not over sensitive or anything. Im still trying to figure out what some of the buttons do but i guess ill have to read the manual for that part. The battery life seems really good.. i took it out of the box, didnt charge it and it lasted all night for me.

The only thing i would change on the keyboard if anything would be to have a backlight for all the keys, everything else is great.. all of the special function keys light up tho when you hit the FN button. The left and right click under the touch pad are a little awkward to me but it might have to do with the fact tho that i'm left handed. There is a left click button on the left side of the keyboard which is great.

Logitech has always made high quality products, and this keyboard is just another great example of their craftsmanship.

Customer Review: Nearly perfect keyboard, love everything it does
Summary: 5 Stars

This is the best keyboard I have bought to date, and I have has this for 2 years. I was looking for a keyboard similar to a laptop. Short keystrokes and slim profile. The battery life is beyond imagination - the rechargeable batteries last for months on a single charge and the charger is slick looking, keeps the keyboard up off the desk to give you extra room, and charges quickly.

I would really like to see the same keyboard with a number pad and backlit keys.

I also have the diNovo mini keyboard for my home theater. The keys light up and the keypad works well. The touch pad is horrible and there is no getting used to operating it smoothly. The similar touchpad on the diNovo Edge works great.

Customer Review: Slick, high quality design with driver issues
Summary: 4 Stars

The diNovo Edge is the latest of several dozen Logitech keyboards I've owned and has the same high-quality feel and appearance. (I've owned the original diNovo, PS3 keyboard/touchpad and, my favorite - the illuminated keyboard as well as other more inexpensive wired and wireless Logitech keyboards.) This has the same excellent touch and good layout and the trackpad is a nice idea. The problems came in the proprietary SetPoint software, which caused reliability problems with Windows 7 & the HP laptop (blue tooth) hardware (and Razer mouse). Despite updates to firmware, system drivers and SetPoint software - it was unable to maintain a consistent link (drops periodically) until SetPoint was uninstalled. (Ironically, just check ver# of SetPoint on this/other computer using older diNovo and it crashed ... hmmm.)

Keyboard works fine, but we can no longer access advanced features (key mapping, trackpad features, etc.) only accessible through Logitech software. One other thing that would have been nice at this price (in addition to playing well with other BT devices) would have been illuminated keys; this is a premium priced product with a number of integrated LEDs for status - not lighting the keys is an odd omission.
