Customer Review: Too Cool
Summary: 5 Stars

This rocks! We got it hooked up last night and have not had any problems as of yet. Our computer is upstairs and home stereo is down stairs. The sound quality is great. There doesn't seem to be any interference with our digital phones or the wireless keyboard and headphones I use.
I don't have anything bad to say about this product at all. In fact, I think I'll purchase a few extra receivers to go in other places around the house.
Note: If you are blind and using the Jaws program to access the screen text, you'll need some sighted assistance installing this device as it redirects the audio from the sound card. I was very concerned about a compatibility issue with the wireless music system and Jaws but we figured out how to make the speech from Jaws come out of the PC speakers and the music from the wireless system. Woohoo!
Oh yeah, you can't beat the price either. Great buy and definitely one of my favorite Christmas presents!

Customer Review: This thing is GREAT
Summary: 5 Stars

This little baby does exactly what is says it will. I got it last Thursday, hooked it up (without reading the instructions) and away she went. It even has a remote control that allows you to skip ahead or back on your playlist and control the volume. After I set it up, I read the instructions. Mine is right next to my wireless phone and wireless router, and there are no issues. I even ran the microwave to see if there would be interference and there was none. The only knock (extremely minor) is that it appears that you cannot have your media player software open on the computer until after you have established the link between your computer and your stereo. I like to unplug my unused devices, so I have to make sure to open the software after they are plugged back in. Most people probably do not unplug their devices, so this probably will not be an issue with them. This was a great buy.

Customer Review: WOW... this thing is GREAT!
Summary: 5 Stars

I've been looking for ways to stream music from my computer to my stereo for more than a year now... I've tried a few options, including the Dlink DSM-320 media server, and also their Music Bridge. Both of those pieces of hardware felt like they were in "beta" stage and took me literally DAYS of fiddling to get them working satisfactorily.

This thing - I plugged it into the USB port of my computer, plugged it into my Bose Wave, and voila! I had music! Then I went ahead and loaded the software and was impressed at all the options... including the ability to set up a whole house network with several of these gizmos (sort of like a poor man's Sonos system).

I rarely give 5 stars, but this product deserves it. I can't quite figure out why Amazon charges double what their other vendor on the site charges, but aside from that -- great product!!!!

Customer Review: Decent product but disappointing
Summary: 3 Stars

The device is easy to hook up but I was disappointed in its limitations. I bought 2 of these devices to get an extra receiver for the purpose of transmitting the signal from my laptop to 2 different stereos(pricewise, it was cheaper to buy 2 sets rather than just buying a receiver by itself $49 vs $79). From the way the paperwork reads, it states that you can add several different receivers, up to 16 receivers. However, you can only send the signal to one receiver at time. My hope was to be able to wirelessly send the same music throughout my entire home and play it through 2 stereos at the same time. As long as you only want to play your music through one stereo, this is great product. But if you want to wirelessly play your music on two or more receivers at the same time, you're out of luck with this device. Without this limitation, I would give it 5 stars.

Customer Review: two rooms, two streams, one pc
Summary: 5 Stars

Like others, I'm very pleased with the ease and quality of this device. Besides listening to the mp3 collection on my hard drive I can tune my PC to an internet radio signal like KEXP, kick back with the living room stereo and pretend I'm back in Seattle. . .
Many of the reviews note that once you plug in the USB transmitter your sound card directs all its signal to the receiver. That seemed to be the case for me too, until I noticed that if I start by playing MediaMonkey (a Winamp based player) through the transmitter, I can also then listen through the pc's speakers to itunes. So you apparently can get two simultaneous streams going from the same pc, one to the Logitech receiver and one through the pc speakers -- not the same signal but from the same mp3 collection, which is kind of nice if two people with different listening moods are involved.
