Well, to start off, this was my first purchase from Amazon ever, and I am very very very happy with everything. My order was shipped the day after I placed the order which was late at night, it came in less than 5 days, and the packaging was in MINT condition. The box had not one dent, or any sign of any kind of abuse, inside was nice little air bubble things to keep the product from sliding around.
I have been using a ball mouse for a while now, I use to have a optical one but one of the buttons stopped clicking correctly, and at the time, I played WoW, so I had to toss it, and my friend let me have one of his old ones, but it was a ball mouse, and PS/2, not even USB. So a upgrade was something that I wanted to do for a long time now. So, I was clicking around Slick Deals, and found a link to this mouse, was $19.99 d, with a $10 M.I.B, which I just filled out tonight which is getting mailed out tomorrow. So, for $10 in the long run, I am very very happy. I started to open the plastic wrapper which is always fun...right? I loved the way it was all snugged in very nicely done by Logitech.
I opened it to find how tiny and cute the receiver was, how can they possibly get in the way...it can't, not even if you tried to make it get in the way. As soon as the mouse came out, I put it down on the counter, and felt it.. it felt so solid, I was so excited. I finished filling out the rebate form with the envelope, and was finally all done. IT EVEN CAME WITH BATTERIES!!!!!! . . but...how do they go in? I saw the button on the bottom, but when I slid it nothing happened, then I realized I was holding it, so I held it different, and then slid the thing on the bottom, and the top popped off, I was so amazed how the batteries go into this unit, so slick, so nice.
I ran upstairs, slid out my tower, unplugged that old junk, and tossed it in the closet, maybe I will put it on ebay one day when I get around to it.. My computer found the hardware before I even got done pushing it all the way in, lol..epic. This mouse feels GREAT...I had to go into the settings and slow it down because it was so fast, but usually you have to do that as all mice are different. 15 Months of battery life? Sounded a little out there until I noticed the on and off switch as well on the bottom, now it all makes sense...turn it off when you are not using it, those batteries will last a long time. I am very very very happy with this purchase, I am very happy with the flawless service I received, and I will definitely be buying from Amazon again that's for sure, and at $10. You can't complain at all.
