Customer Review: Amazing speakers for the price
Summary: 5 Stars

If you need a decent set of desktop speakers, these are the ones to get. I actually have them connected to my PS2 in the living room and they do an excellent job at getting the whole room full of sound with my projector. I get to play Final Fantasy X on a 100" screen on the wall with these speakers. They sound excellent, no distortion, decent bass, and great clarity in the mids/highs. For the price these are very very good speakers as the other reviews point out. I usually read various reviews on Amazon on items, and they are pretty accurate. Especially with speakers, take all the 4/5 stars these speakers get and pick them up. For the price, you can't find anything better. I have a set of Hercules speakers which are in the same price range, but I like these Logitech's more. They are really really small as well which is great too. I wish I had known about these before I got my Hercules and I would have gotten them.

Customer Review: Eh...
Summary: 2 Stars

You can't really complain much when you buy cheap electronics. I gave two stars because for the money I got what I got. It is easy to use and worth the money I paid for them. However, these speakers suck, plain and simple. But, they are a bit louder than my laptop (not by much though), so I do use them on occasion. My TV is a lot louder without them so I don't bother there, but these are best when I want to watch a DVD on my laptop, not so much when I want to listen to music. If you blast these speakers you will get a lot of that background noise, so again I don't bother so much. I don't think I'd recommend these for anyone, the reviews on how great these were fooled me too, but hey all in all it was a $12 lesson, so again I can't complain much. Right now, these speakers are just sitting on my shelf wrapped in their cord. I will be buying new speakers, good speakers, at a store where I can try them out first!

Customer Review: Okay when they worked, stopped working after 5 weeks
Summary: 1 Stars

I suppose I shouldn't have expected much for $10, but these are totally disposable junk.

They worked okay--not great sound and especially poor volume for the first 5 weeks I had them. Then they just stopped working--if I push the button on the speaker I can adjust the computer volume (the volume indicator on the screen pops up) but there is no sound from the speakers. Coincidentally this happened right after the return window was expired, so luckily they were cheap.

When they did work the volume was a huge disappointment. I bought them for my laptop that I keep docked, which means the speaker is always muffled since the lid is closed over it. I wanted external speakers to improve the sound and these only improved it marginally.

I used to love Logitech products but the last few I have bought have been duds--these speakers, 2 mice and a keyboard. This is it for Logitech and me.

Customer Review: sound inexpensive
Summary: 3 Stars

I purchased these inexpensive speakers to use with a 20' Sylvania T.V., in a bedroom, for Xbox playing and DVD/ Netflix watching. They are an improvement over the T.V. speakers as they direct the sound forward and have a slightly better sound quality. A definite improvement during game play but they fall short during movie watching.
Mixing between the t.v.s' volume and the speakers', it's hard to find a balance that's loud and clear enough without distorting and often the dialogue is muffled.
These speakers are probably fine for a desktop computer where your ears are much closer to the source, not 6-7 feet away. I will look for another under $50 system for the bedroom t.v.

Customer Review: Big Bang for the Buck
Summary: 5 Stars

ok so I normally use the $100+ speakers and these are not going to blow your mind or anything. For what its worth they are super practical and if you're using them with your desktop or laptop for basic voice chatting or minimal music listening then they are right up your alley. I tried them with skype (I have a usb mic which I think its absolutely required) so that the person on the other end can hear you with perfect clarity. I can hear the people I talk to as if they were sitting across the table. The features I really liked:

- Power Adaptor self contained within one of the speakers and the amp in the other speaker.
- Minimal and clean cord setup.

I put a small piece of electrical tape over the orange LED to minimize distraction and I'm set to go. I leave them on 24/7 and I don't hear any electrical noise when appliances are switched on or off in the vicinity.
