Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Logitech S120 2.0 Multimedia Speakers (Black)Customer Review: Best Economy Speakers... Summary: 5 StarsA few years back I bought a rather expensive set of Logitech speakers with a sub woofer for my computer. I may have gone a little overboard at the time but it was sure worth it. Although I own a fine stereo system I actually prefer listening to my favorite music on my Logitech system on the computer. I was greatly impressed with the Logitechs sturdy workmanship right out of the box. And the system has performed loud and clear with superior fidelity ever since...
When it came time to add a second computer upstairs for my son I was not all that generous for his system to sound so life like. But I did remember how much I was enjoying the quality of my Logitechs and decided to spring on this bargain priced set. I can tell you that I have seen and heard a lot of cheap two speaker systems in friends and neighbors houses. Most of them sound ok, but none of them come close to comparing to the sound that my son receives from these Logitech 120s. And believe me, he loves to crank them up and press them to their limit on a daily basis. They only resemble bargain priced speakers by appearance. They carry the same fine fidelity that my higher priced system does. Not as deep or as resonant, but definately superior to any other bottom line computer speaker system I've encountered. If you are in the market for a bargain priced set of speakers for your computer, you will find quite a lot of choices available here on Amazon. Most of them at this price level being essentially the same. I have not heard all of them to be sure, but I will bet I have listened to far more than most. And I can tell you that these Logitech 120s are the very best I have ever heard, or owned for this price. They are of an excellent build and quality and I highly recommend them for your computer, or any other systems in your home or office...
Customer Review: good computer speakers...cheap Summary: 4 StarsThese speakers provide an amazingly clean sound, and are a more than perfect replacement for my old speakers--which intermittently added annoying vibrations to their output. Aside from a lack of bass, they are great. If I'd have known that the sound would be this good, I might have spent a few dollars more for a subwoofer.
Customer Review: Worked for 3 weeks Summary: 1 StarsI purchased these speakers to use at work because I didn't need anything fancy. They worked fine for about 3 weeks until one day I turned them on and they made a constant loud buzzing noise. I tried other outlets and nothing worked. I noticed that some people were having the same issue. I guess you pay for what you get.
Customer Review: Great speakers for the money Summary: 4 StarsSturdy speakers that are easy to use. I opted for these since they have a standard headphone jack that I can plug into my mp3 player. The bass is a little weak, but I wasn't expecting great bass for this price of speakers.
Customer Review: Not Worth It! Summary: 1 StarsI really can't even call these decent for the price ($11.99 at Wal-Mart). They just do not have a full sound or any improvement over the speakers that come with your computer. For double the price (about 25.00 at Wal-Mart) of these Logitech speakers, you can buy the Altec Lansing system with a subwoofer that has a fantastic sound. 25 dollars is still not much money and the improvement is like night and day. My friend found some old pc speakers in the dumpster at work and gave them to me, and even though they are the old off-white color and look outdated, they still sound better than these Logitechs. So, I have three sets of speakers (plus all the sets that originally came with my computers over the years) and I have to say these Logitechs are just not worth the money (it could be said that they are better than nothing..I suppose).
