The quality of this webcam isn't excellent or anything close to a digital camera image but it's not terrible or grainy. This also comes with a few fun video effects like old movie, blockhead (distorts your face), four squares (Andy Warhol-like effect), etc. It doesn't come with the effect where an image takes over your face and detects your mouth movements.
One thing I don't like is that the colors aren't very "true". The pictures have this whiteness to it. It doesn't really affect the quality but everything just appears a little whiter. You can adjust your settings but it doesn't change that. If color isn't a problem and you're looking for something basic, this should be fine. I personally didn't feel like it was worth the price. I'd rather pay a little more for something better, or pay less if I'll be getting something average either way. Before buying this, I'd been using a much older Logitech webcam so I thought this would be an upgrade. It was more like a downgrade, however. It seemed like something that came out five to ten years ago when it was only last year.
