Customer Review: Excellent Headset and Excellent Microphone
Summary: 5 Stars

I got this headset a few days ago. I was a bit skeptic about the USB and whether it will increase the CPU usage, since I was planning to use it with my old Laptop (AMD AthlonXP 1600+). However, I did not notice any reduction in the computer response. The sound quality was very good for chat and listening to the music. I am not very selective concerning music, but the sound was pure and I did not notice any distortion. The inline volume control is very nice too. It increases or decreases the volume in steps (two push buttons). It also has inline Microphone mute, with a blue led continuous light indicating the mic is on and flickering light indicating the mic is off. The Microphone sound was exceptionally clear, I recorded my own voice twice, once using this headset and another time using my older regular headset and the difference was very sound, there were almost no noise with this headset as compared to the (low) shhhhhh background noise with the other one.

The only con of this headset is that it is a little tight which is not very comfortable if you are going to use it for extended time.

In all, very good product and I think its price is very reasonable for the quality.

Customer Review: Logitech 350 Headset for Gaming
Summary: 5 Stars

I really did a long search, over 2 years ago, for quality Headset with Microphone for the cheapest price. I am very happy with these, The microphone is very good quality and the sound is really good. The microphone works great with multiplayer gaming, and your voice comes accross crip and clear. I found them to sound great with music too. They are really sturdy, and are like new after two years of use. The USB is much better for me, just plugging it in the USB port. The headset also adjust easy and well too.

The volume button with light and on/off voice is on the cord, with a clip so you can clip it to your clothes. The cord could be 2 foot longer, but they must have dicded they could save 5 cents, which was dumb, but had to mention this.

If you have a crappy set and play online with voice communication, and even listen to music with them, you will be happy with this choice. I have a small to medium size head and found no fault with the ear cups. If you have a large head I have no clue if they would fit well.

I gave it 5 stars because it is the first gaming headset I have owned that is not a POS, and works very good and still work as new after 2 years of use.

Customer Review: Excellent sound, good comfort
Summary: 5 Stars

After carefully reading reviews for many headsets, I decided to choose the Logitech USB 350 despite some concern about comfort. Here's my experience:

Sound quality:

Excellent! I purchased this Headset for VoIP (Skype) and was very happy with the sound quality. I can hear people and they can hear me perfectly. The sound is actually so good that I use this headset to listen to music on my computer (iTunes). As I don't have a great sound card on my laptop (Dell Inspiron 500m), the USB connectivity makes a big difference.

Comfort:

I experienced some discomfort at the very beginning, until I realized that the headpone was pushing my ear against my spectacles' branches. Now I just move my glasses above the headphone, and it's fine. The headset is probably a little tight for big heads, it's fine for me. It also relaxed a bit after a couple of week. Overall, comfort is good for me, but this is personal.

Conclusion:

Very good quality for the price. They won't really match $$$ headphone for music quality and comfort, but for that price, you can expect a very good headset for chat, VoIP or occasional music-listening.

Customer Review: Finally one headset that does it all!!
Summary: 5 Stars

Great price for this kind of quality ($30). It's worth double this price since it covers all the bases. I have many headsets but this is the only one that meets all the requirements: USB (plug and play), Skype, Online Games, over-the-ear headphones, and of course excellent music and movie audio. I've always been annoyed that I had to carry two headsets in my mobile office: one for skype and one for audio/video. Finally a solution. I've been disappointed with USB headsets in the past where the audio was too thin. I've never had a set that worked for movies and music. I was ready to send this one back immediately if the sound quality was lacking. I am very pleased with this headset. It's only been a few weeks but the headset is also comfortable for long periods. Also, I think the build quality is as good as anything on the market - I would pay double the price for these - they're worth every penny. These headphones are as well built as anything else I've tried - I have four other headsets and this is one of the least expensive ones. Logitech has hit a homerun with these in my opinion. At this price, if they hold up well, I'll probably buy a backup pair in a month or so.

Customer Review: Great quality- Mac, iChat AV, Skype compatible, few minor gripes
Summary: 4 Stars

This Logitech headset is really a good piece of equipment. I use it with a Mac Powerbook G4 12" 1.0 GHz running 10.4.9.
Pros:
- outstanding sound quality on:
- iChat AV
- Skype
- iTunes playback
- plug-and-play, no software or drivers required
- inline volume control works seamlessly with Mac OSX
- people who talk with me over VoIP (Skype, iChatAV) say I sound like I'm in the room, better than normal telephone reception

Cons:
- bit tight/uncomfortable for the first +/- month of use (still sometimes feel a little ear-squish)
- clip/mute/volume bubble inline on cord is poorly placed--should be closer to headset for a collar clip or further for a belt-clip
- mute button is easily pushed by mistake
- have to replug into USB port sometimes
- bulky, not foldable (I travel with it and it does take up space, but yet I value the good sound quality)

Overall, the quality and user-friendliness of this headset offsets my minor gripes. I've used it for a year and though I wish a few things were different, I appreciate it's functionality and superior sound quality.
