Customer Review: I would not recommend this headset
Summary: 1 Stars

I purchased this headset to be used with TeamSpeak and Ventrilo during gaming. The intended length of these session would be 2-6 hours at a time. I have a few positive things to say about this headset but many more negative things:

Pros:

1) Descent sound quality: nothing to write home about, but I could hear both games and voices clearly.

2) Microphone sound quality: Clear and easy to setup.

Cons:

1) Comfort: The top band has no padding and becomes quite painful after even an hour of use. The ear pads become sweaty and pinch the top of your ears. These were poorly designed headset for comfort.

2) Inline volume control and mute: I have on more then one occation accidently muted the microphone, and realized that the last 10 things I said to my fellow gamers they could not hear. It is also impossible to change the volume without muting yourself.

3) Cost: This is an expensive headset for gaming, but since I use them for such a long peroid and so often, I figured I would spend the money on them. These are not worth the extra cash.

Overall: I am currently looking for a replacement for this headset. I would not recommend anyone consider buying these. I can't think of a synario that would justify the cost or the discomfort.

Customer Review: Good Headset, Died After 2 Years Of Nearly Daily Use
Summary: 4 Stars

I purchased this headset on July 2008 from Amazon (sold by Reforger) for $28.94 (inc. S&H), and it's interesting to see that the same product costs $69.99 today.

The product is overall very good and had been reliable until the past week, when one of the wires going into the headset apparently got loose, causing distortion in the sound. I've taken very good care of the headset, but also have used it on a nearly daily basis. The microphone has also gotten good use and is still functional. Sound quality is not not exceptional, but is very good for a <$30 price tag, and the USB driver makes it a cinch to use. The volume controls on the headset wiring are still functional, easy to use, and also includes a microphone mute button. The wiring from the volume controls to the headset itself could stand to be a little longer.

I had resigned to purchase only cheaper headsets when I purchased this one, as I have had reliability issues with nearly every headset I've purchased in the $20-$100 range and I expected this one to only last for a year or so as well. Given this unfortunate expectation, I am very happy with my $28.94 purchase and would purchase the same product again at the same price point. For the current $69.99 price, however, I feel that there may be other better options to explore.

Customer Review: Very disappointed
Summary: 1 Stars

I read several reviews of this USB headset and most were good, so I decided to try it. I've had nothing but errors with this headset so far. Plugging it into my Mac I regularly get the error: "Not enough power for USB device. Port will be disabled" . So I have to re-boot the system before I can use it. Very inconvenient when I have multiple files and apps open. Not to mention - there's no consistency. Sometimes it will work, sometimes not. In addition, I still can't get this headset to work on Windows XP Pro. The headset is recognized (New Hardware found USB device) and then says, "there was a problem installing your USB device so it may not work properly." Then there's no way to troubleshoot because it disappears after that. Can't find it anywhere in Control Panel >> Sounds, Speech, and Audio Devices.

I'm sorry I spent the money on these. I usually end up having to use my cell phone since I can't make calls through Skype with this headset or microphone. I'm still looking for a decent headset that WORKS with Mac/Windows and Skype. Is that asking too much?

Advice: best if you can try before you buy to make sure compatible with your system. Don't rely on the manufacturer saying it is compatible with Mac and Windows. Also, the installation manual is a joke. Waste of paper.

Customer Review: Poor Design, Lasted Only A Few Months!
Summary: 1 Stars

The Logitech Premium USB Headset 350 at a first glance appears to be a fairly decent piece of electronics (IF I had reviewed this when I obtained it, I would have given it 4 stars. Luckily I waited to see how it would fair). On the other hand...

PROS:
Good Sound, Mic works well, Ear cups reduce surrounding noise.

CONS:
LASTS a VERY SHORT TIME (generally BREAKS just AFTER the WARRENTY), HIGH PRICING for a LOW QUALITY product, POOR DESIGN (The VOLUME CONTROL located on a DELICATE WIRE puts STRAIN on POOR QUALITY PARTS with light usage and the EAR CUPS DISMANTLE themselves with light force), MICOPHONE is NOT ADJUSTABLE and is STATIONARY TO HORIZONTAL MOVEMENT, LITTLE PADDING in EAR-CUPS creates DISCOMFORT after long periods of use.

CONCLUSION:
I would NOT RECOMMEND this TO ANYONE because the price it isn't worth it due to the fact that you get little use of it since it breaks easily. It's a $5-$10 headset that is UNPROPORTIONATE to its current CONSUMER PRICE. Mine lasted a few months and completely died. Even before that the right ear cup lost sound, then, right before it died, the wiring began to go out, and I had to wiggle it to find a direction in which it would work. Luckily mine was a gift. Do not waste your money on this product!

Customer Review: Excellent Headset and Cost Effective
Summary: 4 Stars

I just got this headset to use with Skype on my Mac using Tiger OSX. Pug-and-play set up; very easy! The sound quality is excellent! Nice and deeply rich. Everyone I've called thought I sounded better than being on a phone. They didn't know I was calling them through an Internet service until I told them. The noise cancelling microphone works well (I live in the city!). The microphone is offset away from your face so it doesn't get in the way, but still picks up your voice well.

The headset padding is very comfortable. I agree with other posters that the band is a little tight, but it's not unbearable. I would rather it fit snuggly than have it falling off my head all the time, which I've experienced with other headsets.

The overall size of the headset is not bulky and packs okay for travel.

I ordered mine and received it through Amazon.com within 2-days! For the quality, ease of use and cost effectiveness, it's a steal! (Expect to pay $50 at those office supply and electronic stores.) The good bonus is that the headset now comes with the opportunity for 120 free minutes of talk time with a particular Internet phone provider.

I really love this headset so far and would replace it with the same, if anything happens to it.
