A 4-port hub shouldn't be used for charging four devices anyway, unless you have a 5v adapter for the hub. If all the reviews say you can't get a power adapter, then treat it like any other unpowered hub. I have my wireless keyboard, wireless audio, infrared receiver, and webcam plugged into this thing. Works fine. The ports are spaced a little close, but otherwise works just like it should.Customer Review: Compact and PowerFul

I have been using Logitech Premium 4-Port USB Hub for a long time. I use it to power my wifi dongle, keyboard, and mouse and other devices. It has never failed on me. I love the size of it and the quality of of the build. I never gets hot and always works. I would suggest this to anyone who wants a high quality usb 2.0 hub.

pros: sleek and clean looking. it is small, has lightup indicators when you plug a device into it. Works well with apple products
cons: the power adapter s sold separately, I could only find it at the logitech website [...] but if you get it it works well with ipods, keyboards and mice.
I would have given it 5 stars if the adapter was not sold separately.

I use it without an extra power source.
I connected four flash drives and transferred to all of them at the same time. No problems at all and the performance was reasonably good.
The hub is really nice, I bought it because I used it in my living room to connect cameras and audio equipment.
If you are a traveler you'll find it very handy also, since it's small.

The Logitech Premium 4-Port USB Hub is the perfect tech travel companion for someone like me who travels alot to work. It's totally efficient and works perfectly all of the time. Is very user friendly and takes up little space. At no time has there been an attachment that would not function through the use of the hub. I give it my highest recommendation.
