Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Logitech Premium 4-Port USB HubCustomer Review: Excellent Hub with 1 Major Problem Summary: 4 Stars
This is an excellent hub, doesnt overheat, love the lightup usb displays.
The only problem is that it is advertised as a powered usb hub, and even says on the phamphlet you get in the box to look on the logitech site for its compatable usb/ac wall adapter, however after looking and calling logitech THEY DONT MAKE IT YET.
big let down. logitech reps told me they will be making one, its just not available yet.
Great hub if you just need the slots, but hold off if you need the AC/USB adapter.
Customer Review: Sleek and stays put Summary: 4 Stars
I use a iMac and am constantly in need of more ports. Purchased this but had to order the optional power supply from logitech as others stated for $10. Its not required to have and is fine for normal use. But Im not using it on a laptop and would rather have a independent power supply for it.
Unlike other hubs this one stays put flat on my desk.
The only draw back is that the power supply connects on one side and the usb connection is on the other. I wish both were on a single side to have a cleaner look.
Customer Review: Small item, Big function Summary: 4 Stars
This item is just the standard 4-port USB hub, nothing really special about it. It has an indicator showing which port you are using. The design is pretty simple and match with most of the environment. Being a Logitech, it means that we have to pay extra. I chose this product because its simple design and its piano black color, just that! In conclusion, if you are an Logitech fan, or an adherent of minimalist, you can always find another that is cheaper but yet has same feature.
Customer Review: Can't even power a mouse Summary: 1 Stars
Great hub, if you spend the extra $20 or so dollars for the "optional" power transformer. This thing doesn't even provide enough power to run my mouse, much less 2, 3, or 4 items at once.
If the accessories you plan on using with it have their own power source (such as a printer), then it's great, but if you want to run a mouse, usb hard drive, flash drive, phone adapter, etc. Get something else that has its own power supply.
Customer Review: Works with half my USB cords Summary: 1 Stars
I have used this hub on 2 different computers so I know its the hub... but it seems to be hit and miss for what seems to work on it for me. For example, my zune chord won't work with it (computer won't pick up the zune), my mouse won't get picked up, while things like my USB phone cord, or my cooler fan for my laptop will, and other things will. So IDK, maybe its defective but otherwise its fine.
