Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Logitech Precision GamepadCustomer Review: Great product... Summary: 5 Stars
I replaced 2 old school MS Sidewinders with these (the MS ones that used the gameport connection)... these are GREAT! More responsive, and a great pad for the price. I wish there was a way to daisy chain them like the old sidewinders, but a hub solves that problem. They seem a little small at first, but then mold to your hand nicely. Also, they just plan look cool (like in the pic)... not a cheap looking see-though blue... but a dark/rich blue. You won't be disappointed.
Customer Review: Great gamepad for the 8 and 16 bit games Summary: 4 Stars
This is the third gamepad I've owned. The first two were not usb, but used the joystick interface on the back of the computer. Not a lot of slack left over when the computer is on the floor and to the side. Those gamepads were not as responsive as this one. I'm quite pleased with it. It was inexpensive and it's as responsive as my feeble old thumbs need. It works without an installation disk (at least in XP), it's comfortable, the cord is long enough, and it looks cool.
Customer Review: STUMBLE FINGERS Summary: 4 Stars
Tried RumblePad 2 this is for a gammer, which I'm not and it controlled less with my innocent games then the Precision Plug and Go. This is very easy to use ,it won't controll somethings (spacebar usage) or the arrow usage on somegames, but others it will. For the price..it works well..Where is there a game controller to work arrows AND spacebar in the innocent 'fun' games...all arrow and spacebar games???Oh well...some of something is better then nothing....
Customer Review: Good Basic Gamepad Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this gamepad for one reason: people seem to have a lot of success with it on Linux. I can attest that is the case (for Ubuntu 6.10 anyway). Penguin Racer and zsnes detect it and work perfectly.
It seems sturdy enough, but I'm fairly delicate with my equipment and I don't do the overhead-controller-smash when gaming goes badly. If you are a serious gamer you'll want a higher-end model, but for a casual game here and there it's perfect.
Customer Review: Not what we expected. Summary: 2 Stars
This item wasn't as great as we thought it would be. It doesn't work with current role playing games. The description said it would, but it doesn't. My husband has yet to see a game he currently owns that would work with it. He has new games such as Fable, Oblivion, and others..and this gamepad isn't helpful at all. He is still making due with the keyboard til he gets a pad that works. We might be returning this and getting something else.
