Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Logitech Precision GamepadCustomer Review: great for emulators Summary: 4 Stars
i just got this to use for my n64 emulator on my pc. overall, it's a great deal. it's not going to be nearly as nice as one that costs more (there aren't analog sticks, for example), but it works well. the shoulder buttons (similar to the r and l buttons on a ps2 controller) feel kinda weird, but with a little experience the feeling becomes less distracting. inexpensive controllers with analog sticks typically break more easily, so this is a great budget gamepad. i have only had it for a few days so i cannot vouch for its long-term reliability, but as with any product, if you treat it well, it will last longer.

Just read some of the other reviews and you'll get an idea of how good this is. At ten dollars, especially considering how much entertainment I can get out of it, this controller is gold. If I were to pick a couple things negative to say about it, I would say that it's kind of light, and that the shape is a bit different. But both of these are not really necessarily negative, and I actually like the shape and weight of it personally. If for whatever reason you want something a bit heavier and don't think you'd like the extra curved shape, maybe you should rethink your purchase. Otherwise, I'd go for this one.
Customer Review: Excellent except for 1 Prob Summary: 4 Stars
This is an excellent, cheap game pad, as to be expected from Logitech. The responce time is excellent and for a simple retro pad (noting the lack of analog sticks) it does its job effectively. BUT (dum dum dummmmmm.......). There is one small problem. The directional buttons are made of some form of hard plastic and as a result playing games that requirer constant button pressing such as FIFA (which i play) and the like will result in your thumbs being numb for about half a day or there abouts. Soooooo....if your use to this then no problem but if not i suggest a pad that has rubber buttons. Any Recommendations.
Customer Review: Great controller at a great price Summary: 5 Stars
This is a great piece of equipment. I'm using it with RockNES (a Nintendo emulator) on my Macintosh in OSX 10.4.4 and it works great. I didn't need to run any software, it just worked from the minute I plugged it in. It's extremely comfortable, the buttons are all programmable, and the directional pad is very precise. I tried a $30 controller that was a cheap piece of junk compared to this one. Super serious gamers who need analog joysticks or more buttons than a Playstation 2 controller will need to find something more sophisticated, but everyone else will find this controller to be a fantastic value.
Customer Review: A complete waste of money Summary: 1 Stars
I bought this for my mac to play a pangea game called Nanosaur and guess what ? It is not compatible even though the literature on the logitech says it works on Macs. What is doesn't say is that it doesn't work on this particular game .I am supposed to have figured that out before I bought the wretched thing. Now I could get the MacAlly ishock II which will work with my G4 but when I upgrade to an intel it will be useless. Like so many companies customer support is nonexistent . Ever noticed how hard it is just to find a phone number somewhere on so many of these sites? Frustrated !!!!!!
