Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Logitech Optical Notebook Mouse Plus (USB)Customer Review: Very convenient but not for long! Summary: 2 Stars
I bought the item about a year ago and I loved it. It's very functional and is perfect if you prefer to use a mouse instead of your laptop's pad and you are on the go all the time. What I noticed right away as a possible long run problem, was the thin cord which didn't seem very long lasting. However, that didn't turn out to be the issue. After about six months the scroll suddenly failed. Very weird indeed, but that's what happened, so i had to buy a new one...this time larger. My roommate has the sam one for longer than me and she didn't have any problems although she doesn't use it outside home too much. Anyway, i guess i wasn't lucky enough with mine.
Customer Review: Great little Mouse!! Summary: 4 Stars
This little mouse was super easy to use. Just plug it in and that was it. I didn't have to do anything else and I use Vista so that was a relief in its self. I love the size, I don't have to use my mouse pad I can just use the bottom of my laptop, my leg or whatever book I have in my hand.
The only thing I would suggest just as others have it the cord. It would benifit from being made out of thicker or stronger material. I am afraid to wind the cord back around the mouse to store it for the fear of breaking it.
Other than the flimsy cord the mouse is awsome. It was a great choice and a great price.
Customer Review: Exceptional mouse Summary: 5 Stars
This is my second purchase in 3 years because the first one gave out due to USB-plug failure, as it is expected of tech products which experience heavy use. Despite this, it is quite durable, does not require changing batteries every two weeks, and has a cord management system that makes sense, compared to other mice which have awkward retractable cords.
It's especially good when you have a sub-15" notebook computer, like a MacBook. Lots of people make the mistake of investing in giant mice to drive a cursor on a 12-14" screens.
I would recommend it to anyone who needs a corded laptop mouse.
Customer Review: Good but it died Summary: 4 Stars
I bought this mouse because (a) I can't stand touch pads and (b) I needed a mouse with a cord because I use my laptop in precarious situations and always drop the mouse. Another reason I had for choosing this mouse was the price. I really like the design and I like that the cord wraps around and secures to the mouse. Sadly I've had the mouse for literally a year and two weeks and it just died. It was working maybe 6 hours ago but now I plug it in and nothing happens. I guess the wires have gotten damaged from wrapping the cord up. But if you're poor and in college like I am, this is good for the price.
Customer Review: Very practical mouse Summary: 4 Stars
There are couple of reasons I chose this :-
it's notebook mouse,
model and color matched with my laptop
decent reputable company Logitech (not the best)
most importantly, free shipping (I was waiting for the price drop since last year (fall 2007).
Using experience:-
I haven't had any problem with this be it the cord, recognition by my notebook or sensitivity. The sensitivity is exactly right for me (it's not overly sensitive nor does it lag).
Highly recommend this one if you are looking for a corded, low-priced but reliable notebook mouse.
