Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Logitech Optical Mouse- BlackCustomer Review: And I thought all mice were equal Summary: 1 Stars
My Dell mouse went bad so I thought I'd replace it with a optical model. I made the mistake of thinking a mouse was a mouse. This particular model jumps and jitters all over the place. I was lucky enough to be a able to trade it with my son's roller ball mouse and he even complained about the jumpiness. I'm going to order another Dell replacement and give my son his mouse back. Then I'm going to take the Logitech optical mouse and unsolder the left switch and replace my old Dell's switch. (It double clicks with one press.) I think Logitech makes good products, but this just happens to not be one. You get what you pay for.
Customer Review: Good product. Summary: 5 Stars
No complaints here. It's exactly what you would expect - light, durable, comfortable, works well. I have three of these. One of them gets dropped or has it's cord yanked several times a day. Another has been in heavy use for about 18 months. They are all working fine without even showing much wear.
Mouse balls are always getting dirty and start working poorly. An optical mouse eliminates that problem.
If you need special features, like extra buttons, cordless, etc., this won't do. If you need a functional, simple, reliable mouse, This is as close to perfect as you'll find.
Customer Review: Logitech Optical Mouse- Black Summary: 4 Stars
1:Touch & Feel : Very good (Comfortable to use)
2:Response: As it fits to your hand, you can expect good movement.
I always (have been, I mean) used and use a trackball. But my trusty
Logitech Trackball was showing ages, I grabbed this optical mouse.
(No need to clean dirts...that's what an optical mouse is all about)
3: Value: There are many cheap mouse(mice) from China/Taiwan. But they
often show problems, including driver compatibility issue with XP.
If you can buy a reliable mouse around $16, and if it comes from Logitech,
it is a good buy.
Customer Review: LOGITECH- ALWAYS A WINNER Summary: 5 Stars
This is not my first Logitech mouse purchase... it's probably my fifth or sixth in the last few years and have these installed on a lot of different computers. I've been in the IT field for a long time and when it comes to choosing optical mice, it's only ever Logitech.
Good fit, good movement, always reliable, great price. I've never experienced a driver conflict with any of the operating systems I use these with, and all the mice that I've purchased are still working well.
Great value, great product, would recommend Logitech without a second thought.
Customer Review: I must have gotten a lemon Summary: 1 Stars
I see quite a few good reviews on here, but this mouse was just awful after about a month of use. Something must be wrong with the way they designed the buttons. All the time I'm single clicking on something and it registers a double click. I try and click and drag something and it releases halfway through without me moving a finger on the button. And this wasn't just a Windows setup problem, I've tried changing the mouse speeds with no success. These two issues cause contstant problems when opening, deleting, and moving files in Windows. I'm getting a replacement asap.
