Customer Review: Most comfortable and easy to use Keyboard Mouse Combo - No install needed - Plug-and-Use...
Summary: 5 Stars

I absolutly love this product!

Here is my story: I had this keyboard mouse combo before and used it 2 years. Finally one of my kids stepped on the wireless transmitter and killed the little device. I was not able to get the replacement yet but couldn't wait longer to get it working again. So I order a complete new set after I tried several other combo set's and wasn't happy at all.

This set is absolutely hassle free and is the best quality I was able to find out there. No problems or interference with other devices. Long battery life without turning the device off ever.

The keyboard feels just fantastic from the quality for all day use.

I just put my laptop behind my external flatscreen LCD monitor and have this combo set in front and use it constantly as a desktop. Once I have to hit the road, I take the laptop out of the docking station and run.

Coming back, no reboot, just plug it back in and use your external wireless keyboard and mouse.

Want to surf the Internet relaxed in your living room at the big flatpanel LCD. Just connect your laptop to the TV and sit relaxed with your wireless keyboard and mouse on your couch and surf the net.

ENJOY!

Customer Review: terrible build quality for the mouse
Summary: 2 Stars

I have purchased two of these for my company and while I like the overall comfort and ease of installation, the quality of the mouse is horrendous. The mouse will just stop working and skipping on the page all of the time. I have tried to use it on multiple surfaces but it is like the whole thing just gets confused once in awhile. Even the left click gets screwy. I will click on something on occasion and it just won't register. If I right click on it, it works fine. The dynamic zoom is kind of cool as well but the location means that you occasionally bump it with the side of your hand and it will screw up what you are doing or send you back a page when surfing on the internet. There are just so many weird glitchy things that happen with this combo that while it seems like a good value up front, after a couple month, the combo starts going to hell and you get to the point where you just want to launch the mouse at the wall. I will be working on the phone with a customer and then my mouse goes and I am left fumbling to get it going again while I try to stall for time due to this crappy mouse. I think I am just going to buy something different and see if this mouse will blend in my blendtec.

Customer Review: Nice With a Few Warts
Summary: 3 Stars

I bought the MX3200 set three years ago. Installation and operation under XP was easy. Installation added a management program which allows easily changing mouse and keyboard options and includes a low battery alarm. There has never been a problem with the USB RF connection.

I like the positive action of the keyboard, which has remained consistent over the time I have owned the keyboard. There is an IR controlled zoom control on the left side of the keyboard. You need to be careful not to inadvertently rest your hand on that side or the zoom will be activated. It is easily corrected, but a decided nuisance. I ended up putting a piece of tape over the control to defeat it. The keyboard is well made except for the flip up feet. One broke after a short time.

The optical mouse works well. However it is sensitive to height above the surface, so the sliding feet must to be kept clean or the mouse becomes erratic.

The low battery alarm for the keyboard has started to false alarm now after three years. It indicates imminent failure no matter the actual battery condition.

It will serve you well if you are willing to accept the warts.

Customer Review: Great product, but durability...
Summary: 4 Stars

I purchased this in Nov. '08, and at first I loved it, I still do, but have been having some odd issues with it. They keys began to not respond like they should, which I believe was a connection issue (fixed now). I do have a lot of bluetooth wireless items in my house, including a Wii, and PS3, and another keyboard/mouse set of the same brand but higher quality. It doesn't have an issue with crossing the signals, but the odd thing is that it comes with a usb connection cord that you set up closer to your set and plug the wireless into it. Otherwise, it's a very good set. The software lets you know when the batteries get low, there are updates available (Dunno what they do, though) and it's got a lot of great features like music controls, a dynamic zoom, and a clock with the date built in. It's really an awesome set, I just don't know how long it will last me!
Also, I just read on some recent reviews that it is not very Vista friendly, but I can say that it is. I've had Vista longer than I've had this set, and it works just fine with it, I've had no problems. It might be Vista 64 bit users but I doubt it, because my husband's more advanced set works on Vista 64 bit.

Customer Review: Great...if you have small fingers
Summary: 4 Stars

I like this keyboard, however two things caused me to return it. The keys are a little too close together and seem to be smaller than other keyboards, which results in a lot more typos than would be the case if the keys wer larger and a bit more spaced apart. If someone has smaller fingers (mine are about average, for a guy) and/or has above average typing skills, this might not be an issue.

The second issue is that the lettering used on keys is in a smaller, less visible font than normally seen on keyboards, and is also in an off-white color (as stated in a prior review). This makes it harder to quickly see and find the keys (especially if one is not great at touch typiing, as I am not). I guess logitech did this to make the keyboard look "cooler" from a design perspective, but IMO, it's silly to do so at the expense of functionality. One or both of these issues seem to exist with Logitech's other mid and upper-range keyboards as well.

Other than that the keyboard is fine. Lots of programmable buttons, comfortable to use,and the mouse is pretty nice (kind of a budget version of the MX Revolution, without the hyper-scroll wheel).
