great product. logitech makes great mouses for gaming this mouse has worked great for all my games mostly RPG and shooters. the construction is quite sound not the best of course but for the price this mouse is a very good buy. i got this product about 1 or 2 months ago and still havent found any major cons to it.Customer Review: The best wired mouse so far

A good mouse for the money,BUT the software sucks. It installed as a
Logitech keyboard. Removed the software for now and it is recommended
by the mfgr. to do a "clean install" (like I have a lot of idle time
on my hands).MAYBE their engineers should go back to school. I've had
Logitech mice in the past and got good life out of them with out any
software issues so I wonder what happened to them. ($$$$$?)

In my opinion Logitech makes the best mice. I got sick of all the wires my "wireless" mouse had, the charging station and the AC adapter for it and all that crap. This had a nice fit for my large hand, the weight is comfortable and not heavy, the buttons are crisp and the texture of the mouse feels good. It works great with Vista x32 without installing the bloated logitech driver suite. The scrool wheel clicks with each partial turn which I prefer to the smooth constant scroll type.
For the price I don't think you'll find a better mouse. Also it has the PS2 adapter with it incase you are low on USB ports (like I am).

A great mouse! Wired is always better! Started with MX1100 but way too jiggly. Got the MX400 before I sent back the 1100. No comparison. Fewer gadgets and buttons, but I don't need them if the mouse performs effectively and smoothly! It does! The 400 goes from full speed to stop perfectly, without missing a beat...no lag no jiggle! With the 1100, I felt like I had just come off a bad nite at the pub!
