Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Logitech LX7 Cordless Optical Mouse - Dark Blue ( 931395-0403 )

Customer Review: Nice piece of gear
Summary: 5 Stars

I'm very happy with the LX7 itself - it's slim, looks good, has a smooth scroll action and quiet buttons, It fits neatly into the middle of my palm, which is how I usually use mice.
The receiver, on the other hand, is a bit too ungainly larger than the typical USB thumb drive. The translucent plastic shows that there is quite a bit of empty space inside. It's unfortunately a bit ungainly, especially compared to the amazingly tiny ones that Logitech ships with the more expensive mice these days. It would have been nice if it docked into the base of the mouse, like some of the Microsoft Notebook mice.
Since this isn't explicitly advertised as a notebook mouse, I suppose it's understandable. Overall, I'm satisfied, especially for the price of my refurb unit.

Customer Review: Used, Inexpensive and Perfect
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought my used LX7 through Amazon from Reforger. It came with only the mouse, usb receiver and receiver extension. No software or instructions. Sent an email to reforger thinking the receiver might be bad. They replied promptly with instructions on how to download the software and connect the mouse using the "connect utility." Now it works like a charm. Only $17 bucks, free shipping and I now have the best mouse I've ever owned. Needless to say I'm very satisfied.

The mouse is great. Nice weight and feel and very responsive. I especially like the back and forward buttons next to the scroll wheel. It also comes with a great software package. I would recommend this mouse and Reforger to anyone interested in taking the chance on a great deal.

Customer Review: I have to return this unit.
Summary: 1 Stars

I have to return this unit.
I have PX, Dell Precision 690, Dual-Core Intel Xeon 2.0GHz,
2GB RAM, ATITM FireGLTM V7200, SATA 7K RPM 160GB HD.
No mater how I adjust the mouse setting, the middle button and Scroll motion was sticky at best. With in the AutoCAD operation, Zoom and Pan Control was not property recognized with middle button and Scroll.
I spent hours try to adjust property setting with no success. Down loading the latest driver did not help at all.
When I switched back to the dell supplied corded mechanical mouse, every thing started working as expected.
I have very good experience with Logitech product in previous purchase, however I was very disappointed in this product.

Customer Review: This is a great mouse!
Summary: 5 Stars

I received this mouse at work as a "hand-me-down" - two people before me didn't care for it, but I love it. I've used it for quite some time (can't exactly remember the date) but I'd say it's at least a year and a half. I'm a computer programmer, so I use it every day for at least 8 hours a day.

I came to Amazon.com to look and see if it was still available as I want to get one for home use with my laptop. (Bought a Belkin wireless and am NOT happy with it - after about 10 minutes of use, it goes to sleep and sometimes it won't wake up.)

This one is completely reliable.

I was very happy to find that this model is still available. Don't hesitate to purchase one for yourself.

Customer Review: Great Mouse, Just a bit uncomfortable
Summary: 4 Stars

I've been using this mouse for probably two years now. It really is a great mouse. Never had any problems with signal. ol faithful. Plus the batteries last several months, so no worries on replacing those.
Now I'm a gamer and for other people who use the computer for extended use: this mouse has hard plastic covering the top where your palm fits. That's depending on how long you're on the computer, but for me at least this creates a problem. It makes your palm sweat and makes for an uncomfortable experience. Now, I've used this thing so much I've kind of got use to it, but if I ever go buy a new mouse I'd probably go with the G9.
Overall: Good mouse, but makes hand sweat in extended use
