First of all, I used Amazon's Free Super Saver Shipping and still received my remote in only three days. Upon arrival, I opened the box to find the refurbished remote looking pristine. I installed the software on my computer and configured the remote in minutes.
I will never have to explain to my wife how to play a DVD again! Just hit "Watch a Movie!"
Only knock on this from my perspective is the location of some of the DVR controls. I find myself clicking the "next" button often to find the function that I'm looking for. Im sure there is probably a way around that, I just haven't done enough research to figure it out.

I purchased the Logitech Harmony 659 remote on the recommendation of my son, who has two. I hooked it up to my computer with the cable provided and indicated the components I have, some older, and some new, and all of the components were found, and my remote was setup automatically. Now, instead of fumbling in the dark with three remotes, my Harmony 659 has buttons that glow when I press a button in the center of the remote, and with the one remote I can control all of my components. It also turns on all of the components for any activity I desire, and shuts them off when I'm finished. I love this remote as it has improved the quality of my life.Customer Review: Does exactly what it said it will do !!!!

I have to say this remote pleasently surprised me in the fact it does exactly what it said it will do. Only one button is necessary to perform functions as advertised, thus great for less knowledgable people to use. I did not give it a 5 rating because I feel the display could be a bit larger and eaiser to read. Also if you are not aware of what mode you are in at all times, the buttons will vary in function. The romote should always reset itself to a base mode thus the user would know where he/she is at all time without looking. Over all the remote is well worth the money, the condition is "new" and works very well with little tweeking.Customer Review: Very nice remote

This is my first universal remote and I'm very impressed with it. I use it to control my HDTV, DirectTV HD DVR, Onkyo 7.1 surround system, HD-DVD player, and XBox 360. One touch switching between different video input devices. Initial setup was very intuitive and easy to modify later to remap keys to different functions. The setup had all of my devices listed and what was necessary to fully control them in their database so I didn't need to program the 20 or so functions some of the devices could do into the remote. I'm very satisfied with this purchase. It was refurbished but came in like-new condition and packaging.Customer Review: Great!

I've had this remote for about a month now, and I have loved it since day one. Even my wife admitted that she liked it, and when it comes to electronics, she usually finds everything that I buy is useless. The setup was easy, tweaking it to my liking was fairly quick also. The only problem I had was when the software asked me to teach certain controls from one of my old remotes...the harmony remote could not pick up its infrared signal, so it kept asking me to try again. I eventually was able to get it done, though, so everything is great! You couldnt tell that it was refurbished, either, so I'm really happy with it.
