This universal remote was easy to program online with a connecting USB cord. The remote is one touch simplicity for watching TV, movies or listening to the radio or CD's.
If the control does not turn items on or off correctly (which seems to happen more often than it should), simply push the "help" button and answer the questions. The control resets to the proper settings and works perfectly. The remote also has the "guide" and record features found on my original cable control.
We have been able to go from 4 remotes to 1, exactly what we purchased the romote for.

This remote works flawlessly. It controls all of my components. The "Watch TV, Watch a Movie," and other buttons are great; it turns the appropriate components on, and all of the others off. Easy to set up using Logitech's web based software. "Help" button is also a great feature when something fails to work properly. I would recommend this product to anyone. After all the reviews I expected the online setup to be better. I have a Panasonic TH-50ZP750U plasma and the remote cannot seem to remember the source input. Maybe it's because I am using component cables instead of an antenna input from my Scientific Atlanta 8300 cable box. I would invest in a better Harmony unit if I thought it would help. I would wish to see a list of all items Harmony has in it's online database. This thing even recognizes my Oppo DVD but has trouble with a brand name TV. No response from tech support email .....Skill level high...not with thisCustomer Review: The last universal remote you'll ever own.

I hesitated before buying this, because I figured I'd be crazy to spend more than $30 or so on a universal remote. But this unit was well worth the cost: setup was finished within ten minutes, and afterwards the remote worked perfectly with my TV, DVD player, receiver, cable box and Playstation 2. It's well-constructed and sturdy, with good button feel and layout. If you're looking for a great universal remote but don't want to lay out the $100+ it takes for most of the Harmony units, get this one - you won't need anything else for a very, very long time.Customer Review: your family and friends will appreciate your efforts to take technology to masses :)

My family and visiting friends were always annoyed by the number of remotes they had to deal with, to watch TV or watch a moview. They never used to get it right to work with 4 remotes and the multitude of things they had to do with my home entertainment system viz. changing the inputs for TV, A/V receiver volume controls etc.
Now that I have Logitech HARMONY 659 REM CTRL, setup was easy and operation is much more easy!!! even a 5 year old in my family can watch her fav cartoon channel without any problem!!!
I love this remote!!!
