I initially bought this remote because my dog ate two of my other remotes, including the one for the TV, and I couldn't find anything cheaper that would control the aspect ratio on the TV. I am very happy that I made the leap. It was a breeze to set up, with no issues at all. It's easy and simple enough to use that my wife, mother-in-law, and my wife's cognitively disabled brother had no problems picking it up and just watching TV.
The only complaint I've got about its design is that the red, green, blue, and yellow buttons from my DirecTV remote are now assigned to function buttons next to the LCD, which is just a little strange, and I have to page once to get to them. I believe there are other Harmony remotes that have the four colored buttons to remedy this. The number keys can be a little overly sensitive at times as well--it's not uncommon to take 2-3 attempts to enter a channel because I'll get 5011 or 5001 instead of 501.
All in all, I love this remote, and it has eliminated the need for every other remote in my family room. If/when I have the need, I would not hesitate to buy another.

This is the best remote I've ever had in my life! Well worth the price.
No need to fiddle around with 5 different remotest for the TV, DVD player, Cable, Sound system, Netflix player. This remote is so smart, it keeps track of what state it thinks each devices is in and what input has been selected. To watch a DVD, it take but 1 click to power on all the appropriate devices. Want to switch to just listening to music, again, just one click and the TV goes off, the sound system is turned on to my ipod and music starts to play.
Programing it is also quite easy. Plug into the USB port on the computer and follow the wizard to customize the remote and add devices.

Actually gave this to my parents as a gift, I did the setup, but after that they love it. I dont get the aggravated phone calls anymore that they cant get sound or cant see a picture on the tv, lol... Couldn't even tell it was a refurb besides by the box it came in. Customer Review: battery life

Mine must be defective. My batteries last only 2 weeks. I can't return it at this point cause it is a refurb. 100 dollars down the drain. I really like the remote too, the way it runs through batteries is unacceptable though. Unless Logitech does something for me I will not be buying another one of these remotes.
Update: Still waiting to hear from Logitech if I can't get a replacement then it is a total waste of 100 dollars and I will change it to one star.
Update: Logitech has agreed to replace my remote at no charge. If the battery life is more respectable I will fix my rating. I do like the remote a lot.

Well this is not my first harmony and so I was little impressed. Even though the features are good compared to it's price, I would highly recommend using the Harmony one instead of this one. I got the refurbished one and it was like new and quality is also good.
All good features are already listed, so I would list the bad features.
1. Activity Fonts are small and not readable for my uncle, who is going to use this remote.
2. I don't think this one has custom buttons that harmony one has which is where the screen replaces buttons.
Over all not a bad remote, if it is your first harmony. For me since I own harmony one and 890, I was not at all impressed.
But if you need something simple and universal, this may work. But if you are old like my uncle and have glasses, look else where, else you would finding for your glasses every now and then.
Also I just tumbled upon logitech's new site and they have discontinued this remote along with a lot of other ones.
