Customer Review: Do not buy this!!!
Summary: 1 Stars

Do not buy this mouse. You do not know me personally, you are just going to have to trust me. Ignore any review that has more than one star.
The sad part about this mouse is how great it could be. The multiple tracking speeds are wonderful, really good ergonomics, and plenty of quick button options that are very easy to set up. Unfortunately, all of these great features are for naught because this mouse freezes up constantly. I don't know if constantly is a good enough word but it is all i have for now. Some days are better than others, but at the worst it can freeze up every minute or two. After doing some research, I found I was not the only one with this problem (Google Logitech G7 freezing). Here is my favorite part of this mouse. In the instructional FAQ's it says to keep the receiver away from electronic devices. Like a computer? I don't get it, especially since the cord is only about 3 feet long. I would call and ask for a new one, but then I would have two crappy mouses on my hands. There are tons of other options out there, choose one of them.
One more thing, the mouse froze TWICE when I scrolled down to submit this review. It's like it knows...

Customer Review: Very poor battery life!
Summary: 2 Stars

I have been using a Microsoft mouse, that used standard AA batteries for years. I got sick of having to hunt down new batteries 2-3 times a YEAR. I purchased this mouse because of its rechargeable battery. However, I am very disappointed with its battery life. I have had the mouse for few months now, the first month, I had to swap the battery ONCE A DAY, annoying, but not too bad, I would have assumed that a Li-Ion battery would last longer than AA batteries, I cant believe it has to be swapped DAILY. The biggest problem is that every time you recharge a battery, it reduces its life, I knew this from the beginning and expected the batteries to last at least a year or two, however I am already am finding that I am swapping the batteries about twice a day. At this rate, I will probably be swapping the batteries hourly by the end of the year. I highly recommend going for a mouse that uses standard batteries.

Customer Review: As stated

I like this one easy to use battery easy to replace even during a game. I like the extra button.

Customer Review: Excellant mouse
Summary: 5 Stars

The G7 wireless mouse is an excellant mouse which I enjoy using. I have other good mice including the logitec MX518, and the MS sidewinder game mouse, but this is my favorite one now.

The G7 out performs all other mice I have tried, I actually had to use the software to slow it down on the higher settings. 2000 DPI is a little to fast for me. It has very smooth action on my mouse pad.

The Logitech software works very well with this mouse allowing you 5 different DPI settings, however I find the 3 standered settings sufficent for 1st person shooter or regular work on the desk top.

The only weakness this mouse has, and it really isn't that bad is the batteries life is around 7 hours then you have to switch to the back up battery which sit's in it's charger. This doen't take very long and the mouse program will tell you when the mouse battery is getting critically low.

For the current money (around $60) I find this mouse an excellant deal.

Customer Review: Great Mouse
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this in 2006 when it was new and top of the line. I used it daily and constantly. Being able to swap batteries in the middle of a game was great. The application allows for speed and sensitivity settings which help depending on the game played.

It lasted until earlier this year when it just went on the fritz. I think 2-3yrs is good for a mouse.
