I really, really, really like the old-fashioned IBM "clicky" keyboards. I've had several over the years and when I needed a new one, I even searched for and bought them used. This time, not only couldn't I find an old IBM, but I needed a USB connection. I thought I'd try this one. After all, it's a Logitech, the ratings aren't bad and it was certainly inexpensive enough.
Although it's basically everything that the old IBMs weren't, I really like it. It has a good touch, the keys aren't too big or too small, and I find that I'm as good a keyboardist on this model as I am on any. The BACKSPACE, SHIFT and ENTER keys are good-sized, and that's one of the things that I wanted.
I'd recommend it, and I'd buy it again.

I bought 2 of these keyboards; one for my Vista PC and one for my XP laptop. In both cases the keyboards worked just fine with no problems or installation issues. Just plugged them in, gave the computers time to recognize the new hardware and started typing away. It was as easy as that. There was NO need for proprietary software which always seems to install more junk on your PC than just the hardware's software. The keys on this keyboard seem to require a bit more pressure than I'm used to but the keyboard only cost $15 each so I wasn't expecting the soft touch capability of an $80 keyboard. In the end, I'd recommend this keyboard. It's easy to install. Works just fine. Is uncomplicated and inexpensive.Customer Review: Great All Around Keyboard!

I needed a low-cost, full sized, USB keyboard for my PC because my old one died. I've had many Logitech products in the past and I've been pleased with their quality. This keyboard is no exception.
The keys are all the the right places (on some compact keyboards, the keys are in strange places), the touch of the keys is crisp and responsive, and this keyboard works perfectly. It's been in daily use for over a month now and I haven't had any problems with it.
Being a USB keyboard, it plugged into my Windows 7 PC and was detected immediately. No additional drivers were required.
A great keyboard for the price, I highly recommend.

USB keyboard, plug and play. I didn't need to install anything. It "Works with Vista", however it also works with Windows XP. As mentioned in other reviews the keys of the Spacebar, Ctrl, Alt, & Windows keys are slightly convex/rounded. Not that it matters. I don't notice any difference. As far as the complaint that the keys are soft to the touch, I don't have a problem with it and again can't tell any difference from other keyboards I've used. So far, I like it, I can type just as fast and accurate as ever and it works. Made by Logitech, so you know it can't be a complete piece of junk.Customer Review: Why such tiny labeling?

I have been using Dell keyboards for over a decade, and I can make a comparison between these two. The first thing I noticed was that the Logitech keyboard is wider and longer than the Dell; the keys are not bigger, just the overall size--a lot of empty space on the keyboard. The second thing is that the key-labeling (e.g. A, B, F2, etc.) is tiny! Dell has a nice size, whereas the Logitech is around half the size. I am not a 90-year-old grandmother who can't see. Bottom line is that it works, but could be more compact and have a larger font size for the key-labels.
