Customer Review: A Gaming Controller
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this gaming controller for street fighter 4 and i loved it! It is accurate controller with a stunning D-pad i have ever felt. However when buying this controller i thought it would be extremely similar to my PS3 controller because of the design but it is BIGGER than the ps3 controller, doesnt really matter to me anyway because i have big hands, but when my girlfriend was using the controller she said it hurt her hands because she cant get a decent grip on it. Other than that you can get all the software updates online and set buttons to what ever you want for any game, however i didnt manage to use the vibrating function yet but it does work! I use it to massage my shoulders when i play games =]. Well what are you waiting for? BUY IT NOW AND LET THE GAME BEGIN
Pros:
-Decent price ($30 when i got it) vs gaming controllers (~$50)
-Amazing D-pad
-Vibration Effects
-WIRELESS
Cons:
-Uses batteries (you probably are going to buy rechargeable batteries)

Customer Review: Good cordless gamepad
Summary: 5 Stars

Pros: Feels sturdy, its matte finish offers good grip. It's comfortable even with my long fingers. It has good range, I can sit about 10-15 feet away from the receiver. Vibration can be turned off from the gamepad to save battery life.

Cons: The receiver blinks when it is searching for a signal. I find this annoying since it's hooked up to a HTPC that is always on, meaning that the light always blinks. Also, there is no light on the gamepad to let you know that it is on and connected. You can tell that its on by looking at the receiver, since the receiver blinks whenever you press a button. But, if you're like me, then you've hidden the receiver from plain sight. It's a minor annoyance since it makes it difficult to troubleshoot when an application doesn't immediately recognize your gamepad.

Other thoughts: It's a pretty standard gamepad. It doesn't offer any "turbo" buttons, or any other special features that some gamers might look for.

Customer Review: Solid Product - only one minor issue
Summary: 4 Stars

I've had this controller for nearly a year now. It has worked very well with both racing and flight sim games. It is well built and actually feels more solid in my hands than do most game console controllers. Batteries last months, even with heavy use. The only reason not to have all five stars is because I had a small but easily overcome problem with it yesterday. I went to use my controller after a few weeks sitting idol and it would not connect to the computer. Restarts, calibration, etc. all failed. After a little internet research I found the answer. The key is to remove one battery, press the button on the front of the receiver then press buttons 5 & 7 while reinserting the battery. Apparently this resets all the communications and after doing so I'm back in business. I like this controller a lot and enjoy the freedom the wireless allows. If you want to connect more than one - read up on it to save some frustration. I can be done but requires two receivers.

Customer Review: NO Feedback
Summary: 2 Stars

I accidently wrote a review for the wired version of this gamepad but will update here because this is what I bought.
After I wrote my comments in the wired version, a few folks wrote in their review that I didn't know what I was talking about.
Well, I'm a computer expert, I've tried every avenue to make this dang thing work right but no matter what I do there is no feedback for EA Sports Madden 2005 even though this game is featured on the Logitech Rumblepad box! The rumble works for EA Sports Need for Speed but not for Madden 2003 or 2005.
The only conclusion I can come to is this thing is still experimental and not ready for release.
I've sought help from Logitech, EA Sports, Microsoft, on-line forums, updated drivers, tried clean boots, reinstallations galore.
Hours and hours later, still not working right. No more Logitech for me. Maybe no EA Sports either. I don't need the aggravation.

Customer Review: Doesn't work with games that were originally made for Xbox 360
Summary: 4 Stars

This is a well made and designed controller but it doesn't work some games that were originally made for Xbox 360(all of the buttons are switched around, the vibration doesn't work and one of the thumb sticks is completely inverted). To get it to work with games like mirror's edge you have to use a home made XBOX360 Controller Emulator v3.0(this gets the buttons and thumb sticks working right and it is suppose to fix the vibration but it seems to only work with windows vista 32 or 64bit if you set the vibration to 0 in the configuration file.) Logitech has been waiting for months for Microsoft to give them what they need to fix this problem but no telling how long it will take. I sent mine back and got a Microsoft Xbox 360 Wireless Controller for Windows. It is very well made, compatible with most new games, its vibration actually works on some of them and it fills more ergonomic if you have medium to large hands.
