I've been using a wired number pad for the last few years. I always thought it was missing some key buttons, but I made do with what it had to offer. Right before the new audit season, I decided I wanted to find a wireless keypad that I could use. This number pad was perfect. It has a (Tab) key, an "=" key, and both parenthesis keys. I do a lot of calculations in my spreadsheets, and this number pad handles it like a dream. I had to get used to the placement of the new keys, but your basic 10 key is all still the same. This had everything I wanted in a keypad, and I am glad I purchased it.Customer Review: Great Product at a Great Price

I purchased this number pad because I wanted something more portable then having to carry around a keyboard with a number pad on it to plug in my laptop while preparing taxes. This product is wonderful in addition to the key pad it also has other functions like tab, backspace, parentheses and equal signs. I do a lot of formulas and this makes it so easy. And as if that weren't enough it also has a button that will open up an Excel workbook and another for the calculator. I've used this product on at least three different laptops (Compaq, Dell, and HP) with no problems at all.Customer Review: Not Mac compatible...PROBABLY!

This pad came up on a search for Mac keypads, so I bought it. Should have read the fine print! Logitech support said it MIGHT work on older Macs, but couldn't say which. Too bad, because it looks and feels great!
UPDATE: My bad! There's a little-discussed Systems Preference setting in Mac OS 10 called Universal Access; it has a Mouse tab, and if the Mouse Keys is turned ON, the external keypad won't work. I discovered this only recently. So I have to assume the Logitech keypad might have worked just fine if I'd known the secret...but I don't know how many stars.

Using the number pad on my desktop has become second nature. Recently I have been using my notebook more and more, but when it came time to pay the bills, work a spreadsheet, or anything involving numbers, I was frustrated having to hunt and peck. The Logitech Cordless Number Pad is the perfect solution. The size is perfect, easily readable, nice portable case, and extra features, such as a button for internet, another to open Excel. With wireless, I can hold it in my hand and watch the screen. Very versatile; I would definitely purchase again.Customer Review: Exactly what I needed

This pad worked great for me. I needed a number pad for my HP laptop while doing calculations in Excel. It did exactly that and I had no issues at all. What I liked best about it was how the USB wireless adapter fit into the back of the pad itself, making it slim and compact for me to carry with me, and I also liked that it did not have the 00 button, which I was never used to using anyway; this is just a preference but it was hard to find a number pad without this button, but I finally found one that works great too.
