Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Logitech Cordless Number Pad for NotebooksCustomer Review: Very happy with this key pad Summary: 4 Stars
I use an IBM think pad and typically need a number pad several times a week for payroll and other projects. I looked for a few days and other reviews were helpful to compare. Some pads had the extra/rarely used keys taking up space where the essential keys should be and this logitech had what I needed. I love that I can place it anywhere on my desk or store it away when not in use. I thought about just getting a whole keyboard, but the ease and convenience of the logitech wireless is incomparable. The grippers on the bottom are nice too so I know it won't slide around on me. Although the "9" was sticking the first week or so, I'm sure it just needed some use, I'm very happy with the product. The TAB and Back button are very useful so if you don't get this exact product, at least look for one that has those features.
Customer Review: logitech number pad Summary: 4 Stars
Shipment of this product was really fast. I unpacked and installed the usb transciever and windows 7 updated and installed the drivers fine. Added the batteries but had trouble getting it turn on, after several attemps it started to work fine. The auto boot for Accel works very well as the turn on feature for the calculator. The buttons respond well and it feels comforable when in use. Only complaint was several weeks later when I tried to use it during our unions audit it would not turn on. After getting back home and replaced the AAA battries it was working fine again. This may have been caused because I did not get the pad turned off correctly. Although I did press the button to turn it off. I think if the power drain problem doesn't continue I will be very happy with the product.
Customer Review: Good choice... Summary: 5 Stars
I use this product almost every day at work & am very pleased with it. I also own a Logitech wireless mouse which I am quite pleased with. This was no exception.
I like the absence of a cord which would only get in the way. I don't know about anyone else but I already have a mess of USB cords littering my desk. It also has all the features I could ask for such as a tab & backspace key. Both of which where lacking in other similar products. I even find the calculator & Excel hot-keys useful, although I didn't think so at first.
The only cons I can think of are that there are no USB ports which most similar products have. Also (and this is nitpicking) the device could be a bit heavier, as it seems to jump a bit when my hand is really flying across the keypad.
Customer Review: The best of the bunch Summary: 4 Stars
I am a long-time 10-key and keyboard number pad user that now travels with a laptop. After struggling for too long with the numbers at the top I read the reviews and bought the Logitech cordless number pad. In terms of functionality...it works flawlessly. No issues. If you use it exclusively it will be come second nature to you. If you go back and forth between standard keyboard and the Logitech it still functions flawlessly but you'll find yourself making keying mistakes as the key spacing is slightly different. I have it plugged in next to my USB cordless mouse adapter and have not experienced any problems. I've been using it about 2 months now. My only wish would be to have the keys spread a little more...but that's probably my issue. Buy it...you won't be disappointed.
Customer Review: Good accessory, but lacks "clear" button Summary: 4 Stars
This is a good number pad keyboard for laptops. Extremely easy to connect and install (just plug in the included USB dongle, which stores in a slot underneath the device when not in use). No software is required. Comes with nice case. Keypad has sturdy feel and the keys are equivalent to that of a standard keyboard, except for the additional "tab", and top row of buttons "=", "(", ")", and "Back". For some inexplicable reason, the keypad does not have a "clear" key. Instead of having quicklauch keys for Excel and IE at the top row, it would be nice to have a "clear" key. Saves having to use the mouse with the calculator. In the alternantive, it would be cool if the keys were customizable like most other Logitech devices.
