Customer Review: For HUGE heads. Decent sound quality. Works on Linux.
Summary: 3 Stars

This product is not adjustable. Not only is the headset size not adjustable, the tilt of the earphones is fixed. Unless you have an enormous head (my friends make fun of me for having a huge head, and this headset is way too big), and your ears happen to be shaped exactly as the Logitech designers intended, you should probably look for another headset.
Assuming you head does have it's own weather system, and your ears are tilted exactly 13.63 degrees away from your head, the sound quality of the earphones and microphone is very good. I have found the sound quality to be adequate for VOIP calls, games, and even listening to MP3's on my computer.
Also, if you are looking for a headset that works well on Linux, and are fed-up trying to find a USB headset that works, this may be for you. Because it uses standard headphone and microphone jacks, as long as your sound card is configured properly, it will work fine. I have tested it using Skype for Linux and several games played using Crossover for Linux.

Customer Review: Great for price
Summary: 5 Stars

Bought this item to use w/ yahoo voice, read alot of reviews from several sites on several headsets this I found was best all around between price and functionality. My only real concern was the very consistent report of it being oversized for most user's heads, which it was though it really does not pose that much of an inconvenience even on my tiny head. Another concern were reports of the mic not working though it seems to mostly be user mistakes and mis-handling that are the problem. As far as the it's functionality, I have used for a little over a week and have found it to have great sound for both listening and a great mic, even w/ yahoo's sub-par voip(switching to skype). Very comfortable, in fact instead of removing after calls just leave it on and listen to music while I work(again great sound), and even used with dragon speak software worked flawlessly.I am sure foe more money could find a much better product, but in this price range it was the best my research led me to.

Customer Review: Value Headseat...Value Performance
Summary: 4 Stars

This is an inexpensive headset and although it doesn't provide the noise reduction, audio quality, or comfort of a Plantronics headset, itt does a surprisingly good job that exceeds the $15 investment. Logitech, as usual, put a lot of thought into design and build quality so this will meet most needs for chatting over an instant message, webcam, or voip client.

With that being said, this headset is not designed around music and I can't imagine it does all that well with reproducing the 3D audio effects/bass which tends to be a part of todays games. This is a good value for chatting and it will likely be a great improvement over laptop speaker performance but you are getting what you pay for; a set of headphones with a mic.

Conversely, this set does produce better voice quality send/receive than most bluetooth over-ear sets...for whatever that's worth.

Customer Review: Affordable, reliable, and comfortable
Summary: 4 Stars

I own two of these -- one that I use for podcasting/Skype at the office, and one that I use for online gaming/Skype at home. I've been extremely pleased with both. The light weight makes them comfortable for several hours of use (I've gone a good five or six hours without taking them off -- and not feeling like I needed to) and the flexible boom mic stays out of the way, yet picks up my voice without me needing to talk any louder than a normal speaking volume. I've traveled with these with no problem, and the inline mute/volume has been a lifesaver on many podcasts.

The foam earpieces are essential but have worn away and fallen off, after which the headphones are understandably no longer comfortable to wear. I'd like to buy replacement foam pads, but they're not available. That's truly my only negative to an excellent value and some comfortable, reliable tech.

Customer Review: Great all purpose headset
Summary: 5 Stars

I got this headset specifially for my softphone (VoIP) that I need at work. I figued it would be good but the audio quality is excellent and the mic is clear. I especially like the fact that it covers both ears (dual mono) for VoIP. In my cramped, loud, hellish office this is a must.

I figured I would hook my Samsung YP-MT6Z (which RULES) so I could listen to some Rush, Dream Theater, and Godsmack. The audio quality was great again.

I am on calls that last hours. The headset's volume and mic on/off pays here. Click the mic off when you don't need to talk or get a cell phone call.

When I travel, have to bundle it tightly so it will fit in my dinky laptop bag (I really need a new one). Even so, it springs back into shape. Very flexible.

Solid, good quality, cheap, comfortable, and portable. Easy pick.
