Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Logitech 3-Button USB Optical Wheel Mouse - Black (SBF-96)Customer Review: Works great Summary: 4 StarsIt's not the sturdiest mouse, but it works well and does the job. Well worth the price.
Customer Review: Bad quality and questionable compatibility with Macs Summary: 1 StarsI bought this mouse about 6 months ago and recently the right mouse button became stuck and doesn't click at all. Also, after switching the mouse on my Mac with this Logitech, I noticed it started to act buggy and upon googling the specific problems that were happening, all signs pointed to the mouse. I almost always buy Logitech mice and am usually very happy with them with the exception of this mouse. My advice is to purchase a more durable model especially if you will use it on a Mac.
Customer Review: A reliable friend... at a good value. Summary: 4 StarsThe SBF-96 Logitech 3-Button optical wheel mouse has been a nice affordable workhorse from web browsing to action packed gaming. As always the low-end Logitech mice have been pretty good for my button intensive applications and this one has maintained that status with me. I've bought this from here for myself and from giant on short notice for one of my friends and the two have performed just the same for about a year now. Depending on the frequency of use of any mouse button can have a very acute affect on the lifetime of that mouse. I've given it 4 stars because it doesn't quite meet my needs as an artist or a gamer however for general use and the previous it does pretty well. If you don't need this mouse for gaming or art applications then you can go ahead and give it a 5 star rating.
Customer Review: Great Buy Summary: 5 StarsI got this last night and love the smoothness. I so will not got back to using the original mouse with the ball. yuck.
Customer Review: Fine USB corded mouse, great price Summary: 5 StarsWhile this is not what you would call a "high-end gaming mouse", it is absolutely fine for normal every day computer use. It is sturdy, the optical sensor tracks well, it requires no special drivers (both XP and Win7 instantly recognized it when plugged in), and you really can't beat the price. For standard office use this is perfect. However, if you are a die-hard PC gamer looking for high performance in 3D video games, this mouse is not for you.
