So I got these on august 14th and on september the 2nd the earphones stopped working,so I had a mic but no sound.So I think you should either have a back-up pair or Buy a higher performance which is probably higher costing Set.do not purchase the warranty for these it doesn't kick in until after the manufacture warranty expires(1 year) it is like pulling teeth to get the warranty enforced.amazon really should stop selling these disposable pieces of junk.filling the land fillsCustomer Review: Too much interference

Before purchasing this microphone I thought all microphones are the same. In fact, they're not. This one is causing lots of interference when I tried to use it with my computer especially when the speaker of the monitor is switched one. Besides, microphone boost is a must if you want other people to hear you clearly especially if you're using skype to call a landline. I never had to do this with my other microphones. I'm not one to get overly excited about headphone sound quality. However, I was surprised that this unit has very good sound quality as far as clarity over SKYPE, AIM and other internet avenues. The microphone works just as well. I will say they do not fit as comfortably as a good pair of audio headphones, But, I don't believe they were intended for the 'sit back and relax scenario' for which audio headphones provide. Overall, I'm well pleased with this unit.

I love this headset. The sound is very clear and I have been told that listeners on the other end can hear me very clear so the mic works wonderfully. This is a light weight headset so it is NOT uncomfortable it is also adjustable. The wire is long enough so that you don't feel confined. I rate this headset 5 stars and the price is a great price. It took me about a week to decide on which one to get and when I decided on the Labtech I'm happy I chose this one.Customer Review: Great Customer Service

I thought the microphone quality was really horrible after about a month. It was still under warranty, so it was exchanged. They actually paid for the shipping both ways. That was the good news. The bad news is that the new replacement headset I received had only slightly better microphone quality. A little digging revealed that my Realtek audio driver has a separate microphone volume control accessible from the Control Panel. I highly recommend this headset.
