Customer Review: BEWARE OF SELLER!!!

I purchased the Labtech Stereo Headphones (980232-0403), to allow me hands-free phone conversing. I am partially disabled and cannot manage the phone and writing at the same time. I received the product only to find out it was not compatible with my home phone. I had to fill out a survey as to why I was returning said product, of which they were more worried about my ruining the inside packaging...now how can you tell something will or won't work without examing it??? They responded to my survey, then gave me 10 days to return it for a refund. REFUND WHAT A LAUGH! On an over $14+ item, my credit card was refunded #3.43. NEVER AGAIN!!! I went to Staples (which I should have done in the first place.), and purchased a headset which I am very pleased with. BEWARE!!!

Customer Review: Good mic, bad headphones.

So let me start by saying that I've had this headset for about a year now. The mic works great, it can pick up people 2 rooms over (provided we both have our doors open). The sound quality from the mic is fantastic, too. However, the headphones sound horrible. I mean, really bad. The headphones aren't meant for listening to music or playing games.
It is a very durable product, considering I've had them for almost a year. I recommend buying this headset if you plan on using it in a work environment, such as an office. If you plan on listening to music or gaming, however, I recommend that you buy a different headset, as the headphone quality is horrible from this one.

I was pleasantly surprise by the clear rich sound that these headsets delivered. I am happy that, after reviewing past opinions, I bought 2 sets. I am very satisfied with my purchase, and at a reasonable price, I bought 2 very good headsets with micro. In addition, I don't have a switch in the wires between the set and my computer. This is a real advantage, no more irritation about switch waisting, malfunctioning and interrupting the current between the computer and the headset as happened to me with other headsets before.
A good buy and I strongly reccommend this light weight and confortable headsets with microphone. It works very well.

I've been using this for about 2 weeks and it works perfectly. People can hear me when I online game and I can hear them just fine as well. It's comfortable and the mic doesn't get in the way if you go to take a drink or something with it still on. I've even moved the mic up away from my mouth and talked forgetting it was away from my mouth and people have still been able to hear me fine.
My only minor complaint would be that because I am on a laptop I don't need a very long cord and this cord is VERY long and sometimes that can get in the way and get tangled up easily. Other than that it's a great product for the price.

I bought one to webcam with and it worked fine until 7 months (but only about 6 uses) later. Sound only comes from 1 side of the headphones now. I bought a set for my boyfriend 4 months ago and his is now also malfunctioning on one side. It worked well while it lasted, but it's pretty terrible that the headset hasn't even lasted a year. In addition, we have by no means put it to heavy use. So this product IS cheap, but don't expect it to last longer than a couple months before you have to invest in another one. If only I hadn't bought that second set for my boyfriend. What a waste of money.
