I installed this on my computer with Windows Vista Enterprise in a few minutes. The system has good range and fast speed. It comes with a usb extension cable with a stand on the end that allows you to place the adapter wherever it gets the best reception.
Another great Linksys product.

It does not work. I have Linksys N ultra range plus router two month old.
My daughter's Toshiba laptop (5 years old) connects with the router from more than
100 feet and through six walls. This USB sees only one or two bars from two feet away.
I'm returning this one.

The Linksys router which I had purchased was not compatible with my internet provider. Linksys was very accomodating and exchanged it for one who is working very nicely. It was recommended by Linksys to purchase the Dual Band Wireless-N USB for my old laptop. I can only say, it works great.Customer Review: Profit from my Unfortunate Experience with this Product

If you buy this product, make sure it is a version 2 or that you do not use or plan to use the Win 7 operating system. If it is a version 1 there is no Win 7 driver available. Moreover, Linksys will not tell you whether they plan to develop a Win 7 driver for version 1. Heads up!Customer Review: Worked

This was bought along with a Linksys wireless router. It worked better than expected and had better range than the wireless that was built into my laptop. It also comes with an extention with is very usefult for being able to put it a little ways away from the computer.
