Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Cisco-Linksys WUSB600N Dual-Band Wireless-N USB Network AdapterCustomer Review: Works with Windows 64bit! Summary: 5 Stars
After much research & 3 wireless adapters that didn't work with my new Windows 7 64bit system I purchased this with hesitation however it worked beautifully! The install CD contained the driver, it picked up my existing Wi-Fi network and I was back on line after thinking I'd never get back on line wirelessly again! During the research phase of choosing this product I became concerned that I would need to be certain I got version 2 however the one I got is version 1 and it is working just fine! I would not be on line typing this review without it being fully connected!
Customer Review: Excellen Product! Highly recommend Summary: 5 Stars
I have a Dell Latitude D630. Its my work computer and basically a standard work laptop for most large companies. I started working a lot from home, so I set up a small home office. Even though I was only 50ft from the router in another room, my connection would drop and/or I would lose my IP frequently due to noise.
I got fed up, read reviews and bought this Linksys WUSB600N. Let me tell you, what a relief! No more dropped connections in the middle of conference calls or during netmeetings. This is an excellent product and I highly recommend it!
Customer Review: Gets the job done! Summary: 5 Stars
I have had absolutely no problems with this adapter. I had purchased a different wireless adapter of a different brand and my computer quickly crashed and I had to do the system recovery. I couldn't even do the system restore and I lost all of my pictures and music(well, I did have them backed up so I didn't lose them permanently).
I've had this adapter now for about 4 months it has worked great from day one. It's quick, it picks up a signal quickly and seems to work very efficiently, even with multiple computers accessing the wireless signal.
Customer Review: Works as advertised Summary: 5 Stars
I'm currently using the WUSB600N to access my recently provisioned 5GHz Wireless-N network. It works as advertised. Included CD with wireless config software works just fine as well on my Windows XP machine. I did move the network adapter to a direct connection at the rear of my machine. When I had it connected to a USB hub, I found that I would occasionally lose a network connection which is likely due to a hub issue upon connection of another device. Anyway, the WUSB600N has been reliably connecting my desktop PC to my wireless network for about a month now.
Customer Review: No probs operating in dual band. Will buy another. Summary: 5 Stars
I had no problems installing on an old Dell 4550 with XP Home Sp3.
It easily connects to either the 2.4 or the 5 Ghz bands being broadcasted from my WRT600N dual band router over 50 ft and 5 walls away. I have the 2.4 band set as my default profile but have no problems when I choose to connect the the 5 ghz band. Consistently getting over 54 Mbs. Very happy. I found it gets much better reception than the Linksys WUSB300N Wireless-N USB Network Adapter.
