I have been using two of these for 1.5 months now, one on a XP Pro and the other on a Win 7 64-bit installation without a single problem. These were very easy to install and configure(pretty much automatic). I connect to a LinkSys 610 wireless router that is two rooms away (about 22') with 5 GHz signal strength "good" I don't seem to have any access speed issues. The 2.4 GHz comes in as "very good".
I even get "low" signal from my next door neighbors router and "very low" from businesses down the street. I don't know what the access would be like on the neighbors or businesses because they are encrypted but the WUSB600N sees them. I recommend this product.

I recently retired our old linksys wrt54G router and replaced it with the D-Link 4-Port RangeBooster Wireless-N Router so I needed a new adapter to take advantage of the improved speed.
The linksys adapter installed quickly and painlessly on Windows 7 64bit and using WPA. I haven't had a single dropped connection since I bought it about a month ago. The only complaint is that the signal is mediocre at best despite being on the same level as the router and less than 50 feet away. Not sure if that's the adapters fault or the routers but worth mentioning.

Ok well it seems like it should be easy and it is. I have a wrt300n about 2 years old it has been through two moves and been bang around,kid handled by a 1 1/2 year old:( But it works, back to the wusb600n saw one at walfart for [...] bought it got home pluged it into a gateway tablet pc running "Xp tablet pc edition 2005 ver.2002 sp3" it asked for my wep/key gave it and pow up and running at full speed? i think the wrt300n only puts out 300mbps max so what can i say, i have other linksys card the 600n and it too gos like heck right 200mbps and the pc is stuffed in corner with the cards 3inches away from a wall .

I use this to take advantage of my new wireless-n network to upgrade older computers to wireless n - 2 laptops (1 XP, 1 Vista), 1 desktop (XP) - as well a new desktop running 64-bit Vista Home Premium. Set up was immediate and automatic on the 64-bit but take the advice of others installing on XP to avoid the CD install.
Easy to switch unit between the different computers. No drop off even when multiple computers running at the same time on the network from multiple locations. Plan to purchase another so I can take advantage of wireless-n traffic management and speed on more than one computer at a time.

I had a lot of trouble with this adapter using Windows VISTA. It has a good signal, but disconnected every 2-5 minutes. The adapter had to be unplugged and replugged to renew the connection. I'm was running Vista 64 -bit with the latest drivers on the adapter and router. My warranty is up so LINKSYS wouldn't talk to me without money. I was ready to get a new adapter. I hated VISTA, so I updated to Windows 7. Now my adapter works absolutely fine, stays connected all the time, reconnects automatically when I wake the computer up. I don't recommend using it with VISTA. It worked fine on my previous XP machine also.
