I've had some disappointing experiences with other wireless routers, but this one runs LINUX and is rock stable.

This is a great router if you want to run linux-based firmware (such as DD-wrt or Open-wrt). However, the wrt54GS router also supports DD-wrt has more memory, is cheaper, and basically has all the same functionality. If I were to do this over again, I'd go for the wrt54GS instead.Customer Review: Linksys WRT54GL

I looked for quite a while for a router and settled for the Linksys WRT54GL. I would have to say that setup was easy and the signal has been strong and reliable. I would have to say that unless you have specific needs for a router this one is the best bang for the buck I have found!Customer Review: Cisco-Linksys is excellent!

This router is great. A knowledgeable friend installed it for me, not without some difficulty. He is in the field so did well. This unit is excellent, so far. It has good connection properties and does't fail.
It is far better than my old, more-expensive unit was.

After a long time using this router, I finally found out why the connection keeps falling....
My cordless phone works in the same frequency (2,4ghz) as the router, they can't work together... so everytime the phone is used, I loose my wireless internet connection...
