Customer Review: Obviously inexpensive, OK sound, built to *look* like quality

They sound much better than you would expect from $9 earbuds. They also look high quality if you don't look too closely. The emphasis appears to have been building a decent sounding set of 'buds that looked we built. I would have preferred it if they actually were. The cables could be thicker and cloth covered and the earbud components could have been more solidly attached. These are perfect to leave at your desk or in your gym locker and you won't mind spending another $9 to replace them when they get stolen or eventually break.
One suggestion for this type of earbud if you want to improve the fit, get the best sound quality, and most noise isolation. Replace the ear cushions that come with them with these: Etymotic Research ER6i-18 Replacement Triple Flanged Eartips for Etymotic Earphones (Gray, 5 Pairs). It adds about $3 to the cost and makes any set of earbuds where I've used them lots better.
Oh yea, the case is a great feature! It is obviously great for carrying this or any other set of earbuds and can also be used as a handy way to hold your bluetooth headset. It's almost worth buying the headphones just to get the case. (If you don't want to go that route and still want a case then you may want to consider the Earbuds Travel Case for JLab JBuds, Blue.)
