First off, remove your TV from your mount, completely. Leave cables intact. I say remove the TV because you may want to get up and behind the TV, and you do need space. The pieces have plenty of room to fit cords. Lay out the ones you need, paint them, and check your wall.
In the bag of screws there is a nail. You need that to pound a hole in the wall where the screws will fit in; the screws don't bite in on their own and trying to do it without the nail results in a lot of scratches.

The ELEW7 gives you 10 feet of wire cover in separate sections to cover just the amount you need. Corner and 90 degree sections allow you to take cords around corners and along your baseboards giving you more flexibility.
