It worked well while it lasted.
Died on me suddenly, shortly after the 1st year of warranty.
The extended warranty for 3 years was purchased with the laptop, however, Lenovo claims that the extended warranty does not apply to batteries!
Nor will they test my computer to see if the adapter or computer was at fault.
After many disappointments (other than this one) with Lenovo's service and products, I say no more.

After researching available replacements I decided to go with the Lenovo brand to match my Lenovo Tablet. I read too many reviews stating negatives with non-OEM products to chance wasting my money. Battery life is never really as long as described but that's to be expected. Not pleased with the high price but you can't very well go without a battery can you?! Good buy, my tablet x61 lenovo gives me all the details with the battery, like number of discharge cycles..watts being used..every kind of info. this is an intelligent battery. It will tell you the status. This info is in lenovo battery/power management software. Though it was unclear to me whether this battery was 1.) a genuine OEM lenovo product and 2.) compatible with my X61t tablet laptop, it ended out being both and I am very happy with it. Feels great to have long battery life again (my last battery was down to about 45 minutes at most), hopefully it lasts for a while...Customer Review: Great long life battery

If you want to upgrade your x60 (or in my case x61 tablet) to working all day from the battery, then this is the solution. It adds about 1 inch to the depth of the laptop, but because it's got a rubberised surface, it makes the tablet easier to hold.
Highly recommended for mobile work life.
