This is a straightforward product. Does what it's supposed to do, adds just a little weight to my x301, and adds a few more hours to the battery life--just what I needed it for.
Be aware that it's not hot-swappable, and it generally requires you to secure it with the same phillips head screw that holds the cd/dvd drive in place, so you'll need to carry a small tool to swap it out if you have more than one.
