Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Lenovo 65W Ultraport AC AdapterCustomer Review: Broken within 8 months Summary: 1 StarsThis thing is broken within 8 months after it came with the T60. and I happened to be in UK on assignment at that time so i had to buy a replacement and could not use my notbook for several days. In a foreign country, it was difficult to find a dealer to claim warrenty as well. Will not buy a Thinkpad computer again.
Customer Review: Great Power Supply at a good price. Summary: 5 StarsVery happy with this supply. It cost quite a bit less than the same item on other sites, even before the free shipping. I'll check Amazon first before I buy anything else online.
Customer Review: 65 W Ultraport Ac Adapter Summary: 5 Stars
Lighweight -- reasonably inexpensive -- I use it as a backup for travel
Customer Review: Lenovo 65w Ultraport adapter Summary: 5 StarsIt's hard to give a "work-a-day" product a score, but here goes. It's a power adapter. I bought it and plugged it in and it worked exactly as advertised. So -- 5 of 5 stars.
Customer Review: Of three choices, this one was sound Summary: 5 StarsIBM X60s laptop owners have 3 choices for power supplies. Option 1 is this power supply (the 65 watt version). Option 2 is a bundle that includes the DC power option that works in cars and on airplanes (but costs $70 to $100 more). Option 3 is a 90 watt unit designed for use with the X and Z series laptops and it costs $10 to $20 more.
I have both a X60s and a Z60t and I find that the 90+ watt adapters charge the Z series a little faster (which is what they're supposed to do). But they have minimal positive effect on the X60s. For this reason, I choose the 65 watt version for my office which might see the Z series once a quarter at most.
